If this makes it too round 9,Pulev is going to look like ten guys mugged him...AJ in trouble at any time ? Maybe if he agreed to only use one arm( still probably wins) ...total mismatch that still needs to happen.

Spoiler: ( everyone is practically a mismatch here)Pulev just happens to have the least amount of power out of the top guys and thats suicide here.

I would say Joshua carries him,but hes very competitve and may want to outdo Wlad here and gets quicker stoppage before rnd 4.

I honestly don't see what Pulev could do to stop Joshua from finishing it earlier.

I even think Wlad carried Pulev a bit. He stopped throwing the left hook for some reason, once he went back to it, he ended it. Had Wlad not got into trying to jab with Pulev in round 3 and kept with the left hook lead he would of finished Pulev in the 3rd.

 

Let me see what Pulev weighs in at. If he's 245 or below, he has a chance.

Pulev is older now, likely past his prime, but could be Joshua's 2nd or 3rd best opponent.

Joshua to me doesn't have good stamina, takes his foot off the gas vs. lesser men to preserve his stamina, and fights dirty / rule bends when hurt.

It's not like Pulev is active and quick anymore, but if he lands a good one in the middle rounds, and upset can happen.

Best guess Joshua via TKO in rounds 6-9.

 

Pre Wlad Pulev poses a few problems. Post Wlad the guy has looked awful. AJ throwing bombs won't help. AJ Ko 4.
I like Pulev he went for it vs Wlad but it cost him big

 

dunno now, but if it had happened a few years ago, i'd predict cowardzaghe would tko an unknown unranked nobody on the undercard, by way of landing three light arm punches.

I don't think they're dodging Ortiz at all. Pulev is simply a mandatory defence ordered by the IBF and Ortiz is allegedly Wilders WBC challenger the same month.

 

AJ will stop Pulev in 5 rds. Maybe even earlier than Wlad did. By the way, Pulev looks worse now than in 2014.
