Pick an option and write down ypur prediction.

I think this is going to be a big "after timers" fight so let's get it down in advance.

I got Joshua in a UD. I think he will earn the UD but the cards will be a bit too wide and give loads of "robbery" ammunition.

    Reality 8-4 Joshua

    Cards 10-2 Joshua

I'll be rooting for Povetkin, but I think Juicing J wins. Probably by questionable tko. Unfortunately, Sasha has too much going against him.

Povetkin will have him "striking a pose" like Price before KO'ing him to the floor!!!!

OR AJ will Wlad like and jab his way to a decision...

Joshua won't be trying to prove he can go the distance like he was against Parker. He'll be getting out of there quick smart with a 3 round KO.

Joshua KO's him around the 7th.

Povetkin won't try and move and counter like Takam and Parker, he'll be right in front of Joshua all night and that will see him ground down. I expect it's going to be an exciting fight, I expect Povetkin to have some success might even hurt AJ if AJ get's sloppy but Joshua's size, power and uppercut will spell the end for Povetkin.

Alas, this might be a probable outcome at this stage of Povetkin's career.

I think that AJ's size and youth are going to be major factors in this fight, and a good deal also depends on the ref letting Povetkin work up close.

That said I think Povetkin is far more skilled and that he still has a good chance of the upset.

He likes to push the pace and that won't suit AJ who has gassing problems. His booming overhand right is a dangerous weapon against tall guys and we all know about his left hook. He varies his attack nicely and is not nearly as easy to hit as people suggest.

On the other hand AJ has the Wlad blueprint to work off of and his volcano of an uppercut could be a decisive factor if he times Sasha leaping in.

So, to sum up: I'll favour AJ on points as well, but Povetkin has a decent chance at spilling the apple cart, and I will be cheering for him.

Ive got a pretty clear decision win for AJ between 8-4 and 10-2. Povetkin has shown he isnt comfortable with big skilfull fighters with a good strong and long jab which is exactly what Joshua is. Joshua has talked about being a lot more agressive in this fight but i think he will be a little more agressive and only when the oppertunities arise. AJ does not want to lose his belts and he certainly doesnt want to lose them because of making mistakes by being over eager or rash.

Povetkin can take a punch and Joshua isnt so much a 1 punch knockout artist so i wonder how many chances Joshua is going to get to really open up on the Russian, bit like the Parker fight he will wait to see a bit of daze in Povetkins eyes or a bit of a wobble at the knees before he really commits to unloading cuz he knows he needs to sure before he closes that gap and gets in Povetkins own danger zone.

Although as the fight progresses and Povetkin and his corner know he is falling well behind on the cards and knowing this is really Povetkins last chance at world titles i can see them making a push in the later rounds to turn the contest on its head so there may be oppertunities for Joshua to take advantage or at that stage in the fight he may just choose to ride it out to the final bell.

Dont get me wrong though, Povetkin is a threat and there is no doubt he has the power to KO Joshua and if he can find ways in past Joshuas jab and get up close he is in Joshuas blind spot. Its those punches that come up and around the side of the gaurd when they are pretty much touching heads that Joshua seems to have problems with, its like his blind spot he just doesnt seem them coming. But then the ref may help out there and cut off any close quarter fighting before it even gets going. Yeah i saw the Parker Joshua fight and although Joshua was getting as annoyed as Parker by that ref i think it did him more favours than it did Parker thats for sure.
