Normal-sized ring. Not like the ring in the second fight which was a joke. EDIT: A fit, motivated, focused Ruiz
Wasn't it only 2-foot bigger than the Fury Wilder fights?? Klit v Fury was 2 foot even bigger than the AJ ring. Still AJ all day in the trilogy. Easy UD.
If (big if) Ruiz gets himself into decent shape he'll make a competitive fight out if it. It mostly comes down to that. He just has to spend less time in the buffet line and more in the gym. A lighter Ruiz - no more than about 260 - will move better and have a better chance to cut off the ring. AJ will be looking to stick and move from the outside like he did in their 2nd fight. The best answer is IDK, 50/50 fight if Ruiz takes it serious.
If Ruiz is in shape it iwll be a good fight. But I'll go for AJ UD. AJ is smarter now, and his height advantage/jab was an issue for Ruiz even in the earlier rounds for the first fight. AJ was controlling the first 2.5 rounds until he became too aggressive. AJ will control most of the fight with his jab and 1-2's. AJ for UD - 8 rounds to 4.
If Ruiz pressures him, keeps his defence tight and gets Joshua concerned he’ll win. He has price syndrome Joshua, the worry of being tagged is maybe worse than getting tagged, like a sack of beans with a hole, slowly draining, his psyche is damaged. It has to be a lighter motivated Ruiz or it’ll be just a repeat of the rematch
Ah the fictitious fit and focused Andy Ruiz. An elusive rarely spotted cryptozoological creature like Bigoot, in-shape Toney, focused Chris Arreola, and the loch-ness monster. I supposed if we do some tree knocks and howls get our night vision goggles, we may contact Fit and Focused Ruiz; however fit and focused Ruiz still has cement blocks for feet. The tall AJ saved the blueprints from fight 2 and goes on to win via a slightly less comfortable UD.
After his corner threw in the napkin in his loss to Jenny Craig, I don't see this fight even happening.
If you shutdown Ruiz's slow footwork it's an easy win Footwork is everything Why Fury is 50 leagues ahead of the rest of them. AJ's feet aren't that fast but he's so much bigger than Ruiz that Ruiz can't close the distance on him fast enough.
This. With for long months decently motivated and diligent Ruiz this fight might be 10X better to watch than with Pulev. With 50/50 if Ruiz is seriously motivated for 6 months in row.
