Good! This is how I always had read it. Was getting really confused on here with the counting of seconds.

As in football, if you bet on over or under 2.5 goals. Meaning two or less, or, three or more.

Wrong. It works that way for corners or goals in football, but when it comes to round betting you take it literally. So under 9.5 means any time before 90 seconds of the 10th round.

Here's the rules according to bet 365

"For settlement purposes where a half round is stated then 1 minute 30 seconds of the respective round will define the half to determine under or over.

If the number of rounds for a fight is changed after this market has been set then all bets will still have action unless the new number of rounds result in the quote being higher than the total number of rounds to be fought.

For UFC specifically, where a half round is stated then 2 minute 30 seconds of the respective round will define the half to determine under or over."

Look I don't understand your confusion on this subject IF you box
I think I.B. ( who actually does box) has broken this down in the most simplest way for you. Good luck :duh

Thanks I.B. as I guess my choice of words were too complex when combined with the word "gamble ":BangHead:

We've already moved on my friend. No use rambling on over what constitutes a round. 10th round stoppage and thats official, no gambling here, just the official ending in boxing. Just no gambling at all or decimal system but just plain boxing system.

Boxing must be good for the brain. Helps with maths and reading like Floyd. Lot of great boxers were scholars ;)

Or gamblers :) anyway I think we've hi-jacked the thread enough. Sorry to other posters you came here for the title thread. They should perhaps put gambling on the thread title as well lol.

    Peace brother.

We are talking about gambling, not boxing. If a knockout occurred 5 seconds into the 10th round the fight went less than 9.5 rounds. Do you see why?

Yeah nah we've already discussed it. I didnt know yous were talking gambling, easy mistake to make given the title of the thread and the subject of the forum which is both boxing. The guys brought me up to scratch and so the first round knockout is called the zero round knockout in gambling and so fourth.

Good highlights there. Some nice shots there from Joshua and movement from Takam. Nice short uppercut from Joshua, Mike Tyson use to drop people with those short shots, not making any comparisons at all just saying, impulse comment.

    Round 1 Buglioni 10-9
    Round 2 Buglioni 10-9
    Round 3 Richards 10-9
    Round 4 Buglioni 10-9
    Round 5 Buglioni 10-9
    Round 6 Buglioni 10-9
    Round 7 Richards 10-9
    Round 8 Buglioni 10-9
    Round 9 Buglioni 10-9
    Round 10 Buglioni 10-9
    Round 11 Buglioni 10-9
    Round 12 Richards 10-9

    117-110 Buglioni

I missed Buglioni-Richards the first time around, I just got around to watching it, and this was pretty brilliant stuff from Frank, he really deserves a lot of credit for picking himself up by the bootstraps and turning his career around after the losses to Khomitsky and Chudinov.
