I don't hate anyone. I just learned a long time ago you don't rate guys based on who they LOST to. It's a trap.

Boy, he looked good "losing" to that guy and that guy? Okay. Who'd he look good beating though?

The IBF has him rated #3 in the world because he looked good "losing" to guys? Who'd he BEAT? That's what he should be rated on.

Joshua would KO Pulev in seconds because Pulev stands straight up, doesn't move his head and has no power to speak of. That's why that fight had "seconds" written all over it. It was going to make Witherspoon-Eklund look like a soft landing. Pulev never wanted to fight Joshua. I'm not surprised he bolted.

So is Molina, considering his best wins are over 45 year old Davarryl Williamson and 40 year old Adamek. At least Takam gave a young titlist all he could handle and never needed the benefit of the doubt(possibly) to get past a 13-37-7 journeyman.

A Femi fan boy as I suspected. Who has Joshua ever Ko'd in seconds? He was rocked to his boots by an injured Dillian Whyte. You reckon Pulev is on par with some of the stiffs and bums Joshua feasted on since 2013?

The "gauntlet?" Perez is a cruiserweight now who couldn't get out of the first round of the WBSS. Thompson is a grandpa. Povetkin wiped him out and Parker looked better clearly beating Takam than he did against Hughie Fury and Andy Ruiz.

Takam didn't run any "gauntlet." He proved what LEVEL he's at, which isn't a very high level.

Regardless, he'll make a better fight of it than Pulev would've. I'm not complaining. Pulev or Takam. Neither is beating Joshua anyway.

He had a good showing against Povetkin, Perez, Thompson and Parker. Won some, lost some, nobody's saying he's a world beater, just a solid contender. AJ is the fav and on a 2 week notice there's nothing to complain about.

Not really... Takam held his own and the fight was close until 9th where he was knocked down before being finished in the 10th. Likewise Takam held his own with Parker and only lost by a round or two at most. The Fury and Ruiz fights were no different - but Takam has proved himself more than those two.

Except you literally are complaining.... and going out of your way to discredit Takam.

Hey, if it gets Joshua's mandatory out of the way, I'm all for it.

That’s not as easy to do as you’d think when you’re on a respirator after needing banned substances to treat a life-threatening blood pressure condition.

If asking "WHO'D HE BEAT" is discrediting someone, then there's a problem.

That's why I said I learned a long time ago you don't rate guys highly based on who they lost to, but who they beat.

I think it's pretty universally accepted Takam isn't beating Joshua, but he's not a poor test for anyone. In my eyes a dominant win by Joshua would only prove further evidence of how bloody scary he is.

If he ends up being tested more than most expect, then perhaps it will be a bit more sobering and maybe AJ is closer to the other humans than everyone expect as most people consider Parker (who was injured going in against Takam in the first place) as a very weak champion.

Joshua is continually improving, and I'm really interested in seeing how he deals with who is no world beater - but is definitely a tough opponent.

You are extremely one track minded. He's proved his status as a top 10 fighter by how he's performed and held his own with top 5-10 opponents on a consistent basis. RESUME DOH! What's his resume DOH? Who has he beaten DOH? Apart from maybe Pulev has the best track record of any non-belt holder.

Takam is better than Pulev. Watch his performances against their common opponents, Thompson, Arias and Sprott. Dominated Thompson, dominated and knocked down Arias and KOed Sprott.

He also gave Povetkin his hardest fight in years and pushed Parker to the very brink.

Takam is more durable than Pulev. Walked through a hailstorm of fire from both Povetkin and Parker, only ever put down once in his career. Pulev was put down by Joey Abell, made to do a chicken dance by Travis Walker and blasted out by the very first solid shot Wlad landed on him.

Takam is not rubbish unless half of the top ten are rubbish. And he's a hell of a lot better than Molina. Better skills, better resume, better performances at the top level. He's a legit top ten fighter. His boxrec ranking is a joke.

He's equal if not a bit worse. Takam's an incredibly resilient, rugged, come forward fighter who makes things awkward for everyone he fights. Pulev's like a poor man's Wlad, right down to the unholy level of clinching he initiates to win his dull as ditchwater fights.
