Anthony Joshua vs. Danny Fleary

    Fair play, surely Danny must have ambitions of his own, therefore why would he take a fight against Joshua in his 3rd fight?

    I really don't understand that, Joshua is being groomed as the second coming of Lewis.

    My best weight is a good 225-230. I know Fleary is best at Cruiser weight. I saw it on his facebook then saw people talking about it on here I'm chuffed for this like will be mint. I want to see how well he does but Joshua is a formidable opponent.

    I have seen a lot of people commenting on his status saying it is too early but I guess the way he must be looking at is he is living the dream, big fight on TV and who knows.

    I have my fight ith Danny on DVD. He was too strong for me but honestly it was a class fight I had some really good moments in that one.

    Danny is 31 so I guess for him, if he performs well in this one even if he loses it could lead to a chance at prizefighter or something like that.

    Best of luck to him he's a top lad.

    Well I just looked you up on boxrec, and I noticed you give Chuvalo and McCall a run for their chin. Which begs the question, was Frenkel that good in your opinion, or were you still, pardon my French ;), 'learning the trade'?

    Haha no that was not me, I know who you are thinking of, a tough rugged journeyman. I boxed Danny in Febuary in the amateurs on his homeshow. He beat me on points, really powerful puncher and I think he'll have a go at Joshua.

    It will be fun while it lasts.

    Avila vs Del Boy was one of the worst "fights" of 2013, Del Boy hardly even tried and got the British stoppage as soon as he put any effort in. Easy win for Joshua, proving nothing though in reality as Avila is awful.

    Joshua's next opponent is even worse, Danny fleary who is a CW with a 1-1 record. Seriously what is the point in that fight?.

    (Not having a go at Joshua, this is the way it is in Boxing you fight crap opponents for the first 10 or so and then hopefully step it up)

    I agree with most of what you're saying but Joshua is the current Super Heavyweight Olympic Gold medalist so his opposition should be a bit better then the usual dross they serve up at the start of a boxers career.

    Tyson Fury faced far better opposition at the start of his pro career and was a few years younger then Joshua plus didn't have the Olympic pedigree either.

    The fact they're match-making Joshua versus powder puff punchers tells me they're very worried about his glass jaw getting exposed.

    I know this is a little bit too A > B > C but Danny Fleary beat Remigijus Ziausys convincingly who Chisora beat not too long ago and he will be coming to win the fight. Personally I hope he surprises a few people and goes the distance.

    :good No I agree, he should be fighting better opponents. I was saying that i'm not surprised he isn't as that is what usually happens.

    In another thread I was pulled up for suggesting that maybe sometime next year,Anthony could tackle one of the Americans off the last Prizefighter.Dont know Fleary,but I respect any boxer.Problem is,if he's a cruiserweight and is one one as a pro,should he really be tackling an olympic gold medallist with 3 straight wins?

    Tommy Coyle was saying on twitter that Joshuas power is firghtening now i like tommy alot, but lets be real Mr Coyle Joshua is no wilder or price when it comes to the power stakes.
