Let's hope they can come to a deal for a fight this summer. 60/40 is the most Wilder can expect though I am sure Hearn will want to squeeze that percentage a little more to Joshua's favour. 65/35 is a fair split considering Parker agreed something similar.

I have my doubts too. Hearn has said from the start they want it in late 2018, he wants to squeeze in the Miller fight in the US to build AJ's profile to maximise earnings for the Wilder fight. Only way I see Hearn changing his mind is if Wilder agrees to a lower split that Hearn can't refuse and that won't happen, money is usually the decider unfortunately.

Um, learn to read I suppose, this doesn't confirm anything. Ofcourse Wilder accepts the challenge but will AJ, that is the question. It's a good propaganda article to make it seem this fight is on for the summer as it puts pressure on AJ to stick to his word if he really means he wants to fight Wilder. He clearly doesn't though but the public might not let him do what he wants, and Sky Sports seems to be heavily backing the matchup and if that's true Eddie Hearn might not have a choice either.

 

So then, "accepted" - not "confirmed". There's still plenty of time for everything to go tits-up.
