Davison gets way more flack than I think he is entitled to and may have things to offer Joshua but where that leaves Derrick James is anyone's guess? Joshua needs to stop chopping and changing trainers and start taking responsibility for his own performances.
Who's idea was this? A Gunshy boxer with a trainer who doesn't like his fighters to throw a punch. Good stuff
Just ticking over. Joshua is a hard-worker and always seeking opportunities to make improvements in all form of life. KD confirmed that he’ll return to Derrick James soon.
I wouldn’t bother going back after the summer his boxers are having. He’s been clueless in the both the Spence and Charlo fights. The other Charlo is MIA and if I was Ryan Garcia I would be running in the other direction. James has been about as good this year as a trainer as he was as a boxer, which was ****.
I disagree. Spence doesn’t take care of himself in between fights and neither does Charlo. Joshua is dedicated to the sport and always keeps himself in tremendous shape. Charlo had no chance against Canelo because he didn’t have the power and wasn’t big enough. Trainers get too much credit for the success or failures of fighters. The one example I can think of a trainer getting something seriously wrong was Dave Coldwell making Dave Price put on a load of weight before his fight against Christian Hammer even though Price had stamina issues, and then blamed Price straight after the fight for his loss. It was that shameful that Coldwell asked for his IFL interview post fight to be deleted.
ben davison easy excuse if he looses oh it was cos of davison hes crap hes buggered up several boxers it was a mistake going with him he turned me into crap if i was with another trainer i would of battered wilder
Just trawled through another thread to say I told you so again lol I find it embarrassing how predictable this AJ train has become
BOXNATION was brilliant for a time ...the uk stuff was like what DAZN puts on now but you'd get to see all the best fights from all over the world for your 12 quid a month
UK content is much better on DAZN than BoxNation. DAZN also has had some really good US fights for free for UK fans this year like Garcia vs Davis, Canelo vs Charlo, Haney vs Prograis, Edwards vs Rodriguez, Zurdo vs Smith Jr etc. Combine that with PFL, the NFL, the Women's Champions League, Red Bull TV, and the Saudi League featuring global stars including Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar Jr, Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino, and Aymeric Laporte to name just a few, DAZN is easily better value for money than BoxNation at just £100 a year (£8.33 a month).
