This fight hasn't been made for 6 years, I don't see that changing. The heavyweight division shall remain a joke.

AJ should retire if he's not ready for Wilder at this point in his career. They're acting like he's Dubois experience level.

Before you know it he'll be headlining nxtgen cards and bellew will be praising him for finally working out his double jab against a 45 year old Romanian bricklayer.

AJ is looking to prolong his career as long as possible which won’t involve him deliberately fighting anyone who can viciously knock him out.

 

Not sure why so many people are laying into Joshua. He has fought twice this year already. Wilder hasn't fought since stopping Helenius last year. If Hearn and Joshua were ducking and refusing to negotiate, I'm sure we would hear this from Finkel and Wilder. Let's wait and see what is said and what happens before drawing a conclusion.

The British Board are always quick to slate Joshua. For example they said Joshua wouldn't fight until December / January after beating Franklin as Whyte was deemed too dangerous which was false. Then they were quick to start a thread stating that Joshua failed a drugs test with no evidence apart from a tweet from a random account.

 

I think you hit the nail on the head. There will probably be a lot of talk about big fights with AJ in the near future, but it's a good bet that we end up with AJ vs Whyte II in December or February.
