I agree. Wilder struggled with the likes of Spzilka and George Washington.
But he can detonate anyone, especially in first 2/3rd of the fight

He showed a good amount of durability in the last beating bs Fury.
He's got more heart I think

I DO think that Wilder needs a keep busy fight before January.

He has one round of action in the last almost 1.5 years or more.

AJ is at least staying busy

Same as any point in their careers. Wilder KO.

AJ needs it written into the contract that Wilder is not allowed to look him in the eye at the weigh-in.

I agree, but hearn will cash him out. He's getting smoked by a bum soon, so he may as well fight Wilder for the pension fund

No chance does that guy beat wilder, while being afraid to get hit. He's not near as good as prime wlad who could carry out a tentative approach and stop wilder

Exactly it’s better for Hearn to cash Joshua in for big money against Wilder now than risk him losing to somebody else for far less money. So the flip to that is it’s better for Joshua not to fight Wilder next but try and get in at least a fight or two before facing Wilder. I won’t be surprised at all if Joshua takes a soft touch opponent before going in with Wilder .

Yeah the Joshua of old I would favour to take Wilder out quickly. But the current version of Joshua gets his neck spun.

I think most people expect Wilder to KO Joshua now. So judging by how the world works it’s probably gonna be the other way round and we will all look like idiots for picking Wilder.

I voted DW KO w/ the overwhelming majority, which I don't always do.

The biggest risk in picking Wilder is the age difference of about half a decade. That's substantial for 30s aged fighters. So if Wilder all of a sudden shows his age AJ could win. A secondary risk for Wilder is his recent inactivity - 1 round in nearly two years.

So a DW win is far from a near certainty. But how can you ignore AJs hesitancy since Ruiz I ?
