Wilder reminds me of those type of fighters ESPN Friday Night Fights used to use for their "filler" fights in between their main fights. Amateurish footwork, balance, and punch technique. Look at his last fight against Washington. All sorts of footwork and balance issues, and was mostly wide open defensively. He feints okay I'll give him that. The right hand that put him down would most likely never land against a world class guy. He telegraphs horribly. Then look at what happened once Washington got up. Horrible, winging, wild shots, the type of punches that a guy with zero boxing experience would throw. He was able to get away with that against a guy like Washington, but a skilled guy will get up, move around to clear their head, cover up, and Wilder will flail away and gas out quickly.
Joshua has better defence, all around skill, footwork, chin etc. The only thing Wilder MIGHT have over Joshua is stamina. Joshua within two rounds, and I doubt Wilder even lands on him.
If ATG Dustin Nichols couldn't finish Wilder then either can't Joshua. Wilder by KO in round 5 when he hits Joshua with his big straight right hand.
Finally we got a vote for Wilder. Over 95% voted for Anthony Joshua so far, either by brutal beatdown or KO, it seems to be not even worth a discussion, where are the Wilder fans ?
Wilder soils himself when a fighter throws a jab. Has never had an opponent good enough to throw a half decent combination. So the fight goes as long as Joshua does neither.
