Anthony Joshua Vs Deontay Wilder

Think he got stopped by nistor in his first major our ament but nistor hits pretty hard and jumps on you from the first bell so I'd say he got caught cold and h didn't go down, nistor gave usyk his hardest fight in the wsb so his no mug ,

 

Joshua is a known steroid user as well as a convicted drug dealer and even with the 'roids he still needed out and out corruption and cheating to 'win' his medal. The corruption and cheating Joshua benefited from would even have made the 1988 South Koreans blush.

 

It wasn't as bad as Korea , and look at Joshua's silver in the world champs he was unlucky not to win gold and faught amazingly in his 2nd major tournament

 

Of course it was worse than Korea. The Korean 88 games is known for one shocking result while Joshua managed to win gold while only clearly winning one fight.

 

I think your losing it a bit, Joshua clearly lost the first fight but ye dychko and cammerelle fight we're close fights that could have gone either way, I had him winning the dychko fight and it a poit either way in the final

Joshua is the more talented and techinical skilled fighter already at this stage. He looks to hit even harder than Wilder, and surely he's way faster with the hands and the foots. He already looks to be able to take a shot better.

 

When did he get busted for steroids?

 

Both only fought bums, both have terrible glass jaws. Wilder has by far the stronger punching power and better physical advantage. He also moves like a fighter, Joshua moves like he doesn't want to fight. He was also gifted in the Olympics.

Wilder knocks him out within 2 rounds. And I am not even a Wilder fan.

 

No kidding. And he's already been decked by a couple of the tomato cans he's fought in the pros, and wobbled by others. Wilder's chin is as fragile as they come.:yep

 

I saw Camerelle beat Joshua in the Olympics, but he was cheated by the criminal judges. If you don't believe me, go back and watch that fight. However, I don't think much of Joshua or Wilder, I say make that fight now..............

 

It is debatable given the difference in experience in terms of fights but in quality they arent too far apart now

I voted for Joshua based on pure Bias given the question as from the outside due to his hulking mass and big power . . . . buuut i do remember him getting rocked by Roberto Cammarelle in the olympic final (the same guy who beat Price) so that should give us a vague indication of his potential but so far in the pro game he has looked great and just needs some fine tuning before he steps it up against tougher opposition like Skelton/Sprott which hopefully isnt too long away

Wilder on the other hand is a lot leaner than Joshua with just as much if not more power in his punches but has been stopped in the am's and since his pro debut hasnt stepped up his competition much and just rode the easy train to a title that should have been given to someone like Mike Perez or Carlos Takam instead due to wins over Magomed and Thompson which easily beat what Wilder has done

Hopefully the same mistake made with Price isnt made with Joshua as I felt Price was being rushed to a title and was overmatched by a strangely enough rejuvinated tony thompson who went on a decent run lately against Pulev, Takam and Solis.

Overall maybe we will see them go head to head in the distant future after Wilder loses to Klitschko and Joshua has had time to adjust to the proranks properly

 

Fury definitely did not had him out in Round 5, it was stopped prematurely by the ref. Firtha even had Fury badly hurt in the 3rd round and gave him a tougher fight.

Against Wilder, Firtha only had Deontay off-balance in the first minute of the first round but then took a bad beating until the 4th round KO.

Remember this is the same Firtha who went the full distance against Povetkin.

Surely Joshua is to inexperienced to go H2H against Wilder. I'm not sure why this is even being debated. Joshua has potential but until he faces stiffer competition then potential is all he has.

 

Wilder hasn't exactly faced great competition either. In fact, all he's faced ARE stiffs!

 

Wilder beat Sconiers...............got beaten from one side of the ring to the other while sparring for the Wach fight with Vlad. Vlad also knocked him down and rocked him a lot...............Wilder did say that he learned a lot from Vlad..........
