Boring but I believe the presser counts as one of Matchroom's UK live shows for July.

Can’t believe Matchroom are going 6 weeks without a UK show and when it finally comes around you have to pay 27 quid on top.

Queensberry will go 7 weeks without a UK show. Boxxer’s first show after July 1 will be on August 19 which will be 7 weeks too. The summer period is usually quiet.

The crazy thing is that there’s a UK show on DAZN on July 15 which makes it only a 4 week gap.

It’s just weird some of the things you guys come up with. If you’re going to make a point at least check that other promotions aren’t doing worse.

They’re not gonna give you a job.

On Sky this month you get Ashes cricket, golf, darts, F1 and footy is starting back up again soon.

Prediction: Joshua to win by knockout, but don't take my word for it, the last time I got a prediction right was when Thatcher was in office! :)

AJ spanks Whyte in 5 and it's because Whyte is washed up.

AJ wins a landslide points victory and AJ is a bum.

Lad can't win in either scenario with some people on here.

For the record, AJ wins by TKO. He might have to get up off the canvas though at some stage. I am expecting some serious trading in this fight.

Looking forward to it unlike some of the miseries on here. Got PNE v Sunderland earlier in the day, too. A fantastic personal day of sport for myself.

Whyteleafe is washed up. AJ wins on points because AJ is washed up too.

AJ isn’t knocking a five year old out in five. Mentally shot fighter.

Did you see his interview yesterday. They asked him a question and he closed his eyes and started counting on his fingers how many thoughts he had. Fookin weirdo.

He got to 3 then stopped - unsure whether it was because he hasn’t learnt how to count to 4 yet or because his brain imploded at the excessive thinking.

Other promotions don't act as the primary reason to have a subscription for their platform. I'm perfectly happy with my Sky/BT subscriptions outside of boxing; DAZN isn't remotely worth the money just now.

Edit: for the record if the Matchroom schedule was on Sky or BT I wouldn't have any issue with it. You can't separate DAZN from the argument.

Exactly my point but it will go over his head.

A July subscription to DAZN would cost £20 and has 2 UK fight nights.

A July subscription to Sky costs £27 and has the following:

    - 1 UK fight night
    - 3 Ashes test matches
    - 3 Grand Prix’s at European time
    - A week of World Matchplay darts
    - The British Open (golf)

    Plus loads more.

    DAZN is a rip off.

This is it exactly, thank you. I will watch all of the above on Sky - the summer might be quiet for football, but it's probably the time I watch the most sport overall. You could excuse DAZN a quiet summer if it was packed the rest of the year (like paying a high direct debit in the summer to cover the winter electric bill!) but it's just not like that.

I have zero problems with Matchroom, except they act like DAZN's mouthpiece.

£47 to watch two shot fighters scared to engage for twelve rounds? Yeah, I er... can I come back to you on that one?
