And this option would have cost an extra £20 if the fight was in February!

Yep. Going back to Benn-Eubank if it happened, or Canelo-GGG III, they both required the (then) full monthly £7.99 price.

They've learnt a bit here: welcome offer to those coming to the platform and trying to entice them to stay, and I believe loyal subscribers are looking at a bit of a PPV discount. Doesn't offset the crappy 30 day minimum notice for me, but it's a step in the right direction.

I believe the PPV Loot price is still £26.99 for loyal subscribers unless I have missed something.

Just doing 2+2 here, but if they're offering a sub discount to those who join to buy the PPV, there's no way they can't offer a PPV discount to subscribers. Doing something similar for the Paul-Diaz event this weekend.

We'll find out next week anyway.

OK so expecting an announcement next week re a discount.

Personally not giving them another penny anyway after finding out ' unprecedented value' in the Matchroom dictionary is mainly infrequent and glorified nextgen cards.

I've been subscribed to DAZN for nearly a year, only because I cant seem to unsubscribe, its a mission so can't be arsed to do it. Will I have to pay £26.99 on top of my monthly fee to watch Joshua/Whyte II?!?!

Still 7 days left to announce the STACKED undercard. I presume they’re leaving it late as the current main card has Pudding Chisora and Bosh Fisher on it.

I think it´s going to be a very thin undercard with 5 or 6 fights. 6 - 7 fights in total but hope I'm wrong.

    Hearn promised a cracking undercard.

Has this man ever told the truth?

No. Eddie Hearn makes a living filling people with lies. After AJ's fight in April, Eddie Hearn promised that Matchroom's summer schedule for May, June and July would be much better...? There was a couple of good fights, but nowhere near what we were promised.

Just realised this is next week. Not gaining any traction at all currently.

The fight is turd and all genuine boxing fans know it as was Fury v Chisora 3 and his next 'fight'.

Anyone being fleeced of £26.99 next week has fallen again for Hearn's sales pitch - these people need help.

Crap fight, crap undercard and same old

    Frank is worse.

What I hate about this forum is that members constantly call Eddie a liar an scumbag, but answer me this: Have Eddie or Barry ever ahut down their company and renamed it due to bumping fighters out of millions? To sit with a fighter on saturday night, watch him put his life on the line, and then rob him is lower than shark shyte.

100% agree. Whatever people think of Matchroom it's mostly been a good steady business run by a trained accountant. They seem to give fighters good advice on preserving their money afterwards too; the number of them who seem to have mini property empires tells you that. Warren's seem to do their job and get out or move onto other promoters.

Barry Hearn has said many times, Warren could have been so much better off if he'd just been a better businessman; you get the feeling Barry would love to have put on some of Frank's fights and thinks they were wasted opportunities.
