Most people can see through him now, no one’s listening to his stupid spin, DAZN is utter rubbish. Not only that, it’s boring. We want to watch elite boxers like Crawford and Inoue, not listen to his nonsense. It’s dull, he can bore off.

Might as well just do a public workout if that's the opponent. I really hope for the other fighters the card gets saved, but let's hope if AJ fights the opponent is still half credible

Half of what Hearn said to Jordan last time was proven afterwards to be a load of waffle. Hearn thinks quick enough to get Simon Jordan flustered and lose his chain of thought but that’s it.

Exactly, he needs platform's like taksport to air his views far more than they need him as they have constant content. Now he's lost the mainstream platform of sky sports news and adverts for fight nights before and during football / cricket / Rugby etc with the exception of AJ and a handful of older stars built up on sky no one outside hardcores & IFL wannabe geezers know what shows / fighters are on. With most of the ticket sellers AJ / Warrington/ Wood / Taylor all mid thirties and probably 1 to 2 fights max from retirement he needs stars and fast.

Personally, I hope it stays this way, the seat filler sites have never been so busy. Of all the fight matchroom nights I've been to this year ive only paid for Wood vs Lara. The rest have been free giveaways

I have never even thought to look on there, fair play. Enjoy mate.

The Sky machine is being hugely underused at the moment post Matchroom with Boxxer. It’s a fantastic platform and their promoter should be squeezing every last bit coverage for his stable out of it.

I agree with part of this but if someone is to get the better of EH in this arena, it needs to be someone with watertight knowledge of boxing and it's procedures. Jordan is capable of wrapping up the likes of Danny Murphy, Martin Known and Jim White when it comes to Football because that's his area but where Boxing is concerned he can't do it with Hearn.

Whether Hearn in his replies is being loose with the truth or not, Jordan doesn't have the 100 percent belief in his knowledge base to back himself to the hilt and largely let's a lot slide until he can do some digging later.

I would love a serious, serious operator in the boxing world to sit down with EH and go through the Benn case amongst other things but it won't happen. I'd love that same person to also sit down with Warren, Sauerlands and a lot of others too before it's seen as purely an attack on Hearn.

The unfortunate truth is were only ever going to be served with the likes of Parsons, Cassius and Gareth A Davies when it comes to questions getting asked.

Great news that the card will no longer be PPV. Kudos to Joshua, Hearn, DAZN, 258 and Matchroom for keeping the card on during a testing past few days for them.

This means Joshua’s last two fights wouldn’t have been on PPV.

Remember that Tyson Fury against Tom Schwarz and Otto Wallin in the US at 4am in the morning were on PPV in the UK. That was absolutely disgraceful. I guarantee you Joshua vs Franklin and Joshua vs Helenius would have been PPV on Sky Sports too.

Helenius is a big puncher and has only fought this weekend so would be in shape. None of the undercard is affected either. Perfect opponent considering the circumstances. Helenius is probably better preparation for Wilder than Whyte - Helenius is a lot taller and has a longer reach than Whyte.

Helenius is a better opponent than Chisora and Washington who were the other 2 options.

But he lost to both of them lol (we all know Chisora was blatantly robbed).

As I said earlier, better than nothing but that's about it.

Washington knocked Helenius out cold 4 years ago. You are an idiot.

If I want to watch AJ this weekend it is still in reality a £20 PPV.

Do you really want to though? Crap fight, crap card, full of crap stable of crap boxers all in ‘massive’ fights. Why spend Saturday night waiting for the 2023 scared of his own shadow version of AJ to come out against a shell of an opponent, while even worse beforehand sitting through club fighters Chisora and Fisher. Complete rubbish.

God I sound negative, I’ll rewatch Crawford v Spence at lunch to get the boxing love back.

It's not PPV because it's an absolute turkey of a card that even someone as greedy as Hearn isn't going to try and blag.
Also the Franklin fight was £20. New subscribers had to pay that for one month of access.

If it's Helenius then there really is no excuse for Joshua now. It has to be a three round blow out.

Hearn/AJ were in a lose lose situation.

One thing I do think, why wasn't their a replacement on stand by for the event? Like Parker was for maybe the Whyte/Fury fight?
