Jared Anderson v Charles Martin had more interest for me but all to their own.

How many tickets have been sold?

21,387 or is it now 40,000 including the seagulls flying over the arena

How could it not sell out - its the O2 arena!! The last time Dillian Whyte fought a domestic clash in the UK it sold 94000 at Wembley!

16000 should be a walk In the park.begs the question why in August it isn't in a stadium

Amazing that there are 16,000 suckers paying top dollar for this fight.

I fully expect Whyte to dance on ice when hit and the only question is will Whyte come with any ambition after being humiliated and schooled at Wembley Stadium. Any punch landed on Joshua could make him crumble very quickly.

Thankfully for them they aren't paying top dollar, the bulk of seats are priced to sell at £40

Sure, there's gonna be some interest but that's Hearn selling it to the more gullible and credit to him (tell him I said so when you drop his newspaper off in the morning)

It's not a massive fight, well not on the scale AJ has had previously

It's at the 02,that tells you everything

It may well sell out too but don't kid yourself
If it were expected to sell more, another venue would have been found

It’s alright but I won’t be paying personally as it’s not worthy to fork out that kind of wonga.

It’s an okay fight, there’s history, 2 brits who have been top 5 in the world (obviously Joshua has been a champion) & will definitely sell out the o2. The price point for the ppv is horrendous though and if that’s the price for subscribers my moment of weakness when committing for the year will not happen again

Not really true tbh. Before eddie made ppv more popular in recent years. We had years of watching the sport stagnate. The truth is it wasnt moving without that ppv.

Hence why pulev, povetkin etc....had fought a whole career with about 2 or 3 competetive fights. It became in their interest to wait it out taking on below par opponents for a payday....ticking on till a real money fight came along. Resulted in a lot of boys fighting 2 or 3 competetive fights over a ten year plus span.

The recent popularity in ppv had boys fighting a lot more competetive fights in a 2 year span than a lot of boys had over a ten year span.

For your point to be worthwhile that has to be false.

    Its not tho.

What people would have been signing up for is more of the same. Uncompetetive fights for years...waiting too long for good fights to be made and in turn the interest in boxing waning further.

Thats the bit a lot of people choose to ignore. Their not gonna suddenly start fighting each other without that ppv. I know that because they werent doing it for years prior to that ppv.

Quite telling that this fight will be taking place at the O2 and Fury-Ngannou will be taking place at Wembley.

I agree mate. You would think that a event that can't even be classed as a sparring session would be put on at wembz! Talk about fleecing the public! Two fighters who are not fighting and you have to pay north of a ton to attend! Criminal.

Beale says he’s cancelling his the ZONE subscription and is banned the next day.

    Mods explain yourselves.

Are the ZONE and or matchroom partially funding this site?

    would we ever know?

It really is a terrible fight. Whyte would do well to win a British title and Joshua wouldn't win a European strap. And the consumer has to pay a fortune to watch it! It must be the most ridiculous event I have ever seen.
