Ortiz, Chisora and Whyte are all on the same card ... and I would rather see any of the three fight Joshua instead.

It's doubtful Molina could even beat any of them - Ortiz, Whyte and Chisora.

Terrible opponent for Joshua ... considering there are THREE BETTER HEAVYWEIGHTS ON THE SAME CARD he could fight instead.

Nonsense. There are three BETTER opponents on the exact same card. Ortiz doesn't even have an opponent yet.

Ortiz yes, but he's already beaten Whyte, and I personally think Molina is as good as Chisora.

Wilder got BLASTED for choosing Molina. And he continued to get blasted for choosing Molina ... until Joshua chose Molina, too.

Wilder's stock isn't going to "FALL" with Joshua signing to fight Molina ... because Wilder didn't get a boost from fighting Molina in the first place.

Joshua's stock falls because there are THREE BETTER HEAVYWEIGHTS AVAILABLE THAT NIGHT IN THAT BUILDING ... and he picked Molina instead.

Oh please....... already beaten whyte who's power has now gone since surgery. Chisora , really ? expect Whyte to beat him easy and Ortiz is a lose lose for AJ . Casual fans don't know him even thought he is a top fighter, if AJ smashes him, so what and if he loses its a long road back.

And do you think AJ picked Molina or Hearn ??

Out of the IBF rankings, his only other option was realistically Duahapas. Pulev rejected it and the Wlad thing fell apart, though I don't believe that was ever really on. It's still a poor fight though.

    And **** Ortiz.

Like "casual" fans know who Eric "The Drummer Boy" Molina is? Jesus Christ. I don't care who "casual" fans want to see. There are three better heavyweights on the undercard.

Do you think Molina beats Ortiz? Do you think Molina beats Whyte? Do you think Molina beats Chisora?

If ANY of those guys were offered a title shot with Joshua that night, THEY'D ALL TAKE IT. And any of the three would be better.

You know it. Everyone here knows it.

I don't want to hear any excuses like "he's the best they could find on short notice" ... because they can open the dressing room door that night and find three BETTER heavyweights than Molina laced up with their gloves on walking to the ring.

Other than Burton-Buglioni, that's a good undercard and it features Katie Taylor and Luis Ortiz.
Anthony Joshua is going for bum of the month again. He better start fighting real names now, the time has come. Hearn is hiding his fighters behind mandatories again and cashing out from it.

I love the excuses being put forward by AJ fans for this fight.
Come on, everyone who's been paying attention at all this year will know that Eddie Hearn has been dropping Molina's name as a challenger ever since AJ won the title.

There's no real evidence Hearn and Boente were ever as serious as they made out about matching AJ and Wlad up, "we agreed terms", that's all hearsay, both camps trying to make themselves sound good and getting some publicity off of Tyson Fury's sudden exit.
People acting like "Wlad pulled out" need to get a reality check. There was never an agreement, never a signed contract.

Now we have Molina, reliable Molina.
It's a poor world title fight.
But to be fair to AJ he shouldn't even be a "world champion", he's a 17-fight prospect.

    I think AJ-Whyte 2 would be a better fight.
AJ-Ortiz would be a better fight, obviously.

AJ already KO'd Molina in 1 round. Ashanti Jordan, that is.
    Arreola did so too.

Bloody hell ! She must be good.
I've seen Ortiz fight and I can't imagine a woman having any hope against him.
Some serious balls on that girl.

Wlad didn't want it, simple as that. Stop trying to create an alternate reality you're more comfortable with.

Luis Ortiz will get outboxed by Katie Taylor, TKO11 for Kate.
    ....
I actually think Katie Taylor is past prime. She was out in the second round of the Olympics and got Bronze in the World Champs.

AJ is fighting an opponent in his 2nd defence who was KTFO out by Areola in 2 minutes 30 seconds 4 years ago now.

This date has been around for a long time, and he could have got a better opponent but has chosen the easiest option.

The undercard match between Whyte and Chisora is a better fight than the main event.

    This is a complete joke

Whyte - Chisora that's awesome! Much better than the main event.
