I never said they did not have boxers, learn to read you illiterate simpleton. The Brits did not have the boxing infrastructure back in the day to compete against the Americans, they may have had boxers, but their skills were not any good compared to Americas, now they do have superior skills. America has been getting screwed over by everyone if you havent noticed. Not only did the Brits not have the boxing infrastructure, but the participation rates were not as high either. Fat Dan said HBO brass was willing to outbid any Showtime offer for the fight. Will be interesting which network it is on. They mentioned the first fight could be on one network and the rematch (if there is one) on the other. I know Hearn has a relationship with both HBO and Showtime.
