I think this would be a great match up here. You put too of the fittest boxers up against each other. You put the raw power and size of Joshua against Holyfield's skill and determination. I think Joshua would get to Holyfield early and hurt him pretty bad. Holyfield would weather it though and get to Joshua later in the fight.
One was a proven great ,either champion or rated in the top ten for FIFTEEN YEARS ! The other is a novice who has yet to fight a man of class .Tough one:think
Too early to give this one to Joshua, but I look forward to see what he'll do in the next few years. I have high Hopes for him and think he's got awesome potential.
Its debatable whether Joshua could even beat some of the guys who lost to Holyfield, forget about the man himself. Please don't overrate Joshua just yet. Fury will hammer him btw.
It is not debatable. Mike Tyson, Rid**** Bowe, Goerge Foreman...I doubt Joshua is ready for them yet. Let's give joshua some time to mature ...
As far as Holyfield's heavyweight opponents go, Joshua would probably beat 1988 Tillis and 1988 Thomas. Then he'd lose to 1989 Dokes.
I'm talking guys like Mercer and Cooper, Joshua's not shown me anything yet to say he'd definitely beat them. He'd an impressive puncher don't get me wrong, but there's still alot of question marks surrounding him, at least in my minds eye. He's just the latest in a long line of Ko artists who get overrated until they get exposed.
I think his skills and athleticism speak for themselves. Granted the opponents he's faced aren't stellar but making short work of guys who are 23-0, 16-0, etc is better than the usual tomato cans that some of those guys you mentioned fought in their first umpteen number of fights. He's fast, skilled, hard punching, and a big man at 6'6", 245 lbs along with being in stellar shape. The only thing I'm not sold on is how well he can take being hit. But the rest is looking good.
