Hrgovic lasted until the eighth round thanks to his chin, but already in the fifth round his stamina failed him, and it seems to me that he kept his distance a little better than Joshua, who seemed a bit too soft from the very beginning, who would win now?

    Hrgovic sucks. Oversold power....one-dimensional...no hustle...

Granted, a lot of people said that he was better in the amateurs, so maybe a lot of his problems boil down to motivation. But one way or the other, the guy is just not really a world-class operator.

I think AJ wins a decision here. Hrgovic obviously has the much better chin but AJ has a more complete skill set, is more explosive and his stamina is a bit better too.

Hrgovic isn't a pillow fist but he doesn't seem to be a big puncher based on his fights against Dubois and McKean. 1 AJ right hand had a bigger effect on Dubois than 30 Hrgovic right hands.

A toss up. Neither seems that hungry for the sport anymore.

Hrgovic was coasting too much off his win over Zhang. The De Mori fight was a waste of time and didn’t do anything to prepare him for Dubois.

As for Joshua the two easy wins against Wallin and Ngannou didn’t do him any good. I don’t think Joshua counted on Dubois being as determined as he was.
