Hrgovic is a hype job. Mark deMori would slaughter him. Ok, maybe not, but he still is a hype job. Even the scared AJ that we saw last nigh eventually KO's him.
Filip wouldn`t land anything on AJ punching as sluggish as he did last night, AJ`s jab looked far crisper.
He was a full mark quicker, his jabs would have landed easily against the sluggish Filip, he looked bored.
lmao, don't be silly Helenius landed enough and damaged AJ's face. And Hrgovic is clearly better than Helenius
Filip didn`t look better than Helenius last night and is smaller with less reach, AJ looked far sharper, I don`t think Filip really cares about his career, he looked like he was coasting in a boring fight.
Don't know who wins. certainly not the fans. it would be an extremely dull encounter. Ultra cautious Joshua vs half asleep Hrgovic. I'd go for Joshua UD.
Joshua knocks him out late. Hrgovic has a tendency to get distracted too easily and take big shots, something he got very lucky in not losing against Zhang.
AJ and everyone picking Hrgovic should be put on a watch list for terrorism against boxing. Hrgovic stinks. "But AJ looked bad too!" AJ at least showed he had a jab and could hurt someone without aiming towards the back of the head.
I pulled out a bunch of old boxing magazines, ranging from the 70's to the 90's - it was like a different world. It's hard to explain, but the entire vibe was different. There were loads of important fights happening or about to happen in the near future. The thing that left the biggest impression on me was the respect & dignity that the sport was treated with. In America, boxing really meant something to people - a great many more people than today. Boxing, mainly because of the scarcity of meaningful matches, HW shenanigans & obvious corruption, has become a freak show to be laughed at. Joshua vs Hrgovic would be be a tiny blip on the radar back in those days.
