It's not my first choice but if Joshua can take out Ngannou with ease then it just highlights even more what a joke Fury is. And Fury won't have fought Usyk by that point anyway because either he'll have retired or postponed the fight because of some phantom injury.

I'm only on board with the last point, but only if Joshua doesn't drop the ball and makes Ngannou look like something he's not. The rest just feels like copium. Joshua should be praised for being active, but his level of competition has been utter crap since the Usyk losses. Jermaine Franklin, a shot Helenius and Otto Wallin is far from a murderer's row of opponents. I'd rather he be active than inactive, but since the opportunity for a big fight is there, I'm not willing to excuse him for fighting Ngannou. I'd get Joshua having a big fight, then a tune up for another big fight afterwards, and repeating that cycle of good win-mediocre win as long as he's active.

That's not what's happening here, he beat 2 absolutely crap opponents, then a merely decent one in Wallin, and is now going to fight an 0-1 MMA fighter rather than an established and proven fighter. It does nothing for his legacy, nothing to progress the division, and nothing for Boxing fans. It's just a dumb crossover fight to get money and to appeal to casuals.

Hilarious, isn't it? The AJ fanboys cry and whine about how Fury vs Ngannou is terrible for the sport, but when AJ faces Ngannou, they'll write 1000-word essays rationalising how it's "actually great" hahaha

Another pass for what exactly? Is AJ a champion or what? Best resume in the division by far. One of the most active fighters in the HW division as well.

Not the fight I wanted, but I don't think N'Gannou gets due credit. He looked far, far more refined and composed against Fury than I'd expected and he does have that power. Not the best version of Fury for sure, but I think we're kidding ourselves if we think he forgot how to box all of a sudden. It's not like he took Chisora very seriously either, but still outclassed and stopped him.

Wilder has never looked as good as N'Gannou did, but he still made a good career out of his power. So I wouldn't sell N'Gannou short.

Oh one of the Fury biggest cheerleader comes to light, once again not using his brain, and not reading, but just crying and been toxic as usual.

Your boy was shattered by Ngannou. Ngannou smashed the fraud, and hold a victory against Fury, no matter what the corrupt judges says.
Everyone knows this. The cheating was on a full displays, not given clear as day second KD, not give a clear as day 1 or even 2 point deduction for clear 100% full power intentional elbow.
Blatant corruption on the scorecards. Hell the tweet with pic above tells it all.

Why shouldn't AJ not face the Fury's conqueror?

But just like i said, you have to be someone else to compare Fury - Ngannou fight to AJ - Ngannou now. Nothing in common.

Like i said, Eddie called out Hrgovic in the post fight.

Then he's hit us with NGannou now.

I'm disappointed but I can live with it.

If Fury & Wilder both didn't sh*t the bed, this won't be happening

I would have preferred Zhang to this by far but let's not forget who put Ngannou in line for this, the Gypsy queen & the twerker from Alabama

Firstable, Franklin and Helenius(late replacement, don't forget that, this wasn't AJ choice), was AJ fights after 2 back to back loses, this was rebuild fights. Franklin is actually a very solid operator, who in my eyes and in many others beat Whyte, and should have been undefeated before the AJ fight.
Otto Wallin, was the supposed "bogeyman" of the division that Whyte and everyone else was ducking him. And plenty of people on here was explaining how Wallin is so good, and he will beat AJ, or outbox him, and AJ will get a gift decision.

And how exactly you are excusing AJ, as he can do whatever the f***** he wants. He ain't a Champion, so it's not his job to fight the mandatories, which is exactly what Hrgovic and Zhang is.
Where is that energy for Fury though? To fight Zhang, to fight Hrgovic, to fight Dubois, and so on?

As far as resume wise, it does a lot, as he beats the crap out of Fury, no matter how you or anyone else try to spin it. One judge score that fight for Ngannou, which is very telling. Or you are telling me also that the elbow and the clear not given second KD didn't exist ? And we should close our eyes for the blatant corruption?

There was a huge poll as well as who won the fight on here, and most people had Ngannou winning the fight CLEARLY.

And how it doesn't do anything for Boxing fans, when Boxing was literally ruind by Fury, when the current HW Champion decide to fight an MMA guy who never boxed in his life(PRO/Amateur level), and on top of that this MMA guy smashed Fury to pieces.

At this point I get it, Wilder lost and blew the payday. Ngannou is a money fight

Fury and usyk are fighting for the true championship, if fury wins aj can line up an even bigger money fight with fury

Look at this crybabies calling me a fanboy, when they have zero argument against what i have stated, and the reason is because everything i stated in my first point, is 100% true. They can't argue with Facts.

    Fact of the matter is:

Ngannou beat Fury in the eyes of almost everyone who is not heavily biased
AJ is not a Champion, and doesn't have obligation
AJ is heavily active, and this is essentially Wilder money replacement fight. You can't blame AJ for the Wilder fight falling apart, as Wilder messed it up with his loss.
Boxing reputation is in the tatters thanks to Ngannou embarrassing Fury, yeah the pic in the first post says it all.
AJ can't fight for the IBF title, as they need to wait for the Undisputed fight and see what happen from then.

And lastly Ngannou is ranked by number 10 by the WBC. By winning this, AJ is prolly going to become WBC mandatory, as he is already number 1 in their ranking.
