Is there a time frame on the bet? If Fury were to push it back say a month, would you lose?

Edit: just checked. He said if it happens next, so his goose would be cooked whether it happens in the next month or the next few.

So if AJ fights someone after NGannou you'll forgive him then right?

According to the bookies in Britain, Ngannou has roughly a 17% chance beating Joshua. So unless you live in an especially violent part of Israel/Palestine then I doubt it.

Joshua took care of himself and his profession seriously back in 2019 when he fought that bastion of pugilistic professionalism: late sub Andy Ruiz.

By fighting Ngannou, AJ is continuing the circus. People should not be letting him off critique free.

The bookies say there is an 18 percent chance I would get abducted, so you're wrong.

Andy Ruiz is a world class professional boxer, Francis is not. Also Joshua avenged that loss.

Ross Puritty wasn't a world class pro boxer according to many, yet he beat Wlad.

If Ngannou nails Joshua with a counter left hook to the temple or a right hand to the chin then it won't matter whether Ngannou's had one pro boxing match or thirty. If AJ can get KO'd by Ruiz, who didn't wobble Liakhovich, Kevin or Arreola, then he can get KO'd by Ngannou.

Ross was still a boxer, Francis is not. Ross would probably beat Francis as well.

Ross was a journeyman boxer. Beating undefeated Wlad must have been a considerably bigger upset oddswise than Ngannou toppling three loss Ruiz-KO victim Joshua.

Experienced boxers can lose to MMA journeymen making a quick transition over. Greg Hardy has provided a few examples in the last year or so with dominant wins over Rahman Jr., Corbin and Neely.

Well I never said it was impossible. Stipe Miocic could probably take on some top boxing contenders as well.

Miocic may have been able to become a decent boxer (iirc he lost to Jennings in the quarter finals of the national golden gloves) and he destroyed Maldonado with the small gloves but he got smoked by Ngannou a few years ago when he tried to exchange with him.

Its gonna be funny if AJ doesnt look good either and boxing fans have to throw him under the bus like they did Fury and be all "well the 40 year old Chinese guy would have stopped Ngannou within 3" rather than just accepting that maybe Ngannou is actually pretty good.
