Well NGannou is a boxer, same as AJ now, just massively less proven and hasn't yet won a fight.

He is to boxing what Lesnar was to the UFC.

Remember when it was...well...we don't like the Chisora fight, but we'll forgive him this time IF it's a warm up and he fights Usyk next.

Then it was was...well...we know he doesn't look like he is in training but Usyk is the one who doesn't want to fight Undisputed. Fury really really really wants it.

Then it was was...well...we know he shouldn't be fighting Ngannou but the whole division is pricing themselves out.

Then it was...well...we know he just embarrassed the whole of boxing, but he is fighting Usyk in December.

Then it was...well...we know he threatened to sue Usyk if he tried to push the fight back, but it's clear Fury needs more time, and you know he is fighting undisputed in February!!!

Yeah and the biggest troll on here making thread about Usyk trunks being high, when Fury has his next to his tits. And making silly thread trying to prepare everyone for what is coming, like we don't know that Fury is going to try to cheat his way to a victory, and will be as dirty as possible(as the corruption allows him).

All cause he knows Fury will try to lowblow Usyk to death, as well as try to clinch/hold/lean every single seconds.

Fury has zero legs at this point, and there is a zero chance he can stays on Usyk pace even for 5 rounds.
They will be for surprise, as Usyk ain't stupid, and he will be well prepare for this.

Is he afraid to get hit? His recent run of opponents suggest his team are afraid of punchers. Well he is going in with a puncher now. Of course they bank on the lack of experience of Francis.

Big Frank is getting up in years, but he is a specimen. Joshua has maxed out in boxing and likely already on a decline, certainly he is not learning anything new

Francis will improve with each month that passes. He is tough, very strong and has power

If Ruiz can destroy A prime Joshua in short notice and make him quit? I think Francis has a good chance of stopping him

Definitely Joshua's toughest opponent since Usyk

Lesnar got a lot of hate during his run... but the guy had legit wrestling pedigree and unique physical gifts at the end of the day. I think most recognize him as a unique talent who had an easier path than most due to his drawing ability. We know Ngannou is a legit combat sports competitor... we don't know if he's so good that he can just waltz in, and give the best heavyweight boxers in the world serious issues in his debut if they're in shape/healthy and taking him seriously. I think Fury/Usyk and Joshua/Ngannou will answer this question for us.

 

Nope, he made a bet and needs to stick to it. I never made such a bet about walking. If he welches? He can't be taken seriously

If he left? The fury talk would fall by 3/4

If Fury would have taken the fight seriously this would have been a non discussion.

As it was Fury was dropped and probably should have lost on points.

 

Personally, I think screaming "ban bet" everytime a conversation doesnt go your way and then renaging, is far more childish.

 

I had Fury edging it by a few rounds, but it was a disgraceful showing. I think he would have won going away had he taken Ngannou seriously as well. We'll see if he's still a top HW next month and if it was just a bad night at the office. If Ngannou is actually good and a freak of nature as some believe he should cause AJ issues win or lose.
