    Rubbish

That's a statement that shows ignorance towards fighting sports & heavyweights. Heavyweights are not normal boxers. Physicality is a MASSIVE part of their game.

AJ got gifted titles and medals. Francis is a better physical specimen and mental specimen. The only thing AJ has on him is ring experience but that can be overcome and Francis has already showed that.

They say boxing is mostly mental and that's very true. Francis isn't a random bum off the street.

    On paper

Francis is heavier than AJ. Talking 20 natural pounds heavier.
    Francis tougher
    Francis is mentally stronger
Francis is supreme in close and at clinching an area AJ has failed to develop. Infact Francis by an objective measure has already shown to be the best clincher in HW history and it's actually not a surprise given his background, Did anyone expect him to implement it into boxing so quickly and easily? no, but he did & it is probably the most impressive feat I've seen in a long time.

These are not advantages that can be overlooked.

Ngannou didn't beat Fury. AJ might lose because he can't recover from a knockdown like Fury but probably won't.
And either way Boxing will remain the fringe sport it has become.
To recover boxing needs to be one belt per division and less divisions otherwise a vacuum will be left when
    the Saudis lose interest.

The sport’s reputation will take a hit but there’s plenty more to the sport outside of the heavyweight division. As soon as you have UFC guys stepping into the ring at the lower weight classes they will be trounced due to the immense skill gap. Heavyweight boxing is different and big units can be successful with significantly less skill. That being said Ngannou is also just special and is one of the greatest athletes we’ve ever seen.

I do and you couldn't answer my question, so now you're upset. Probably sounded good in your head though.

Gnanou winning to Joshua is no catastrophe. In boxing the best man must win, if the best man is gnanou, then so be it. No problem AT ALL.

It will never happen, though, gnanou cannot even move his head, he is just a guy stealing an oportunity to boxers with real chances.

I feel Francis would be too big and heavy for Liston, only problem for Francis would have been Liston`s 84 inch reach.

Wow three insults in one tiny paragraph you're pretty damn talented LOL

I only have two things that I can think about your perspective, the first is that you've never actually seen the great old heavyweights fight, and the second is that you have seen them and don't have a clue.

So you don't see any other problems for Francis, like for instance the unbelievably huge gap in skills?

Stop kidding yourself. If one of the elite HW's on this generation gets beat by an MMA rookie in a boxing ring it will be a disaster for the sport.

    Heavyweight boxing.

Francis has an iron chin (one of best in division) , Iron punch (top 5 puncher), great heart and determination and is the strongest heavyweight in the world. Even if he can't box a lick, he has an excellent chance with those attributes alone.
