Well first off recoup from that sickening knockout and reassess where his head's at (in the audience at Riyadh, ba-doom tish!).

If he wants to stick around boxing give him a few easyish fights against an Arreola or Washington type to see how he does. If he loses them then retirement probably beckons. If he wins then set him up with a bigger but beatable name, like a Whyte or Wilder. All that would have to be done fairly soon as none of them are spring chickens

Spend some time recovering. That knockout was brutal.

He just got his cash-out money from these two fights. He should probably retire. Doubt there’s another big money fight out there for him anyway after that performance.

Dana White must’ve went through a whole bottle of lotion after seeing Ngannou getting KOed.

On thread, I have no idea. His chin is not there against big punchers and that’s largely what todays HW division consists of.

Hopefully Ngannou goes back to MMA and we stop seeing these silly Boxing vs MMA fights. Yesterdays fight happened exactly they way it should have happened the first time.

Ngannou is there for the taking now for Fury low morale, Fury should rematch him to get back any sort of credibility first before facing Usyk

A man who had never so much as put on a pair of gloves twelve months ago got sparked out by a two-time world champion. I'm certainly convinced...

I've seen this "garbage" repeated on Twitter/X, as well.

You can't even score a convincing KO any more without conspiracy theorists popping up.

That was a classic one-punch KO. One guy out on the floor. The best result any fight can have.

No judges to screw anything up. Nothing to argue. One guy clearly won. One guy clearly lost, flat on his back. OUT. Bring in the oxygen.

(So, of course, people have to find something to argue about.)

Side note: Sonny Liston's argument was he was waiting for Ali to go to a neutral corner and he got up and was fighting when the fight was stopped. Ngannou wasn't up and fighting with Joshua when the fight was waved off. He was out.

    Idiot trolling.

Franklin is a professional boxer. So is Helenius. If you consider them in the same breath as Ngannou you are an idiot.

Do you genuinely think Fury should fight Ngannou prior to his May bout against Usyk?
I am sure Usyk would welcome Fury doing that.

I commented the other day that "MMA heavyweight champs all seem invincible until they get KO'ed and they become half the fighter they were before".

Ngannou's chin has be shattered and he will never be able to take a decent shot again. His confidence will never be the same, as doubt has now entered into his mind and will never leave.

He will likely lose his next fight be it boxing or MMA.

WRONG! Ngannou is now yesterday's news. No one will give shyte about him now.
Even MMA fans will turn against him as he simply lost in such an embarrissing fashion.

This would be a waste of time, a complete lose-lose situation for boxing. Fury can think of getting his rematch when he gets old and washed up, now is simply not the time.

Let him fight usyk in May, then a rematch may follow

Let's see Aj vs Parker in the meantime, then the winners can fight
