since we had a silly rumour of Flintoff vs Audley this year how about a slighty more realistic one for 2013. Anthony Joshua to have his first Pro fight against Andrew Freddie Flintoff ? There would be HUGE publicity around a debut fight not seen since Freddies awful pro debut but this time you would see a genuine talent in the ring that would teach Freddie a lesson and send him into retiremnet in only his second match
Isn't he already retired? Thought he ****ed up his shoulder enough that he's not going to box again? As much as Flintoff's fight made a little bit of a mockery of the sport, I have no agenda against him that would make me want to see him get his head knocked off by Joshua.
strange that people were genuinley excited by an absolute no go joke http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?p=14100547 Audley vs Flintoff but not interested to see a man on his 2nd fight take on a top amatuer on his pro debut
Flintoff is one of the worst pro-fighters I've ever seen. Why would I want to watch a top amateur like Joshua go pro and immediately get chucked in to a joke of an event where he'll A) decimate Flintoff, who I like and B) learn absolutely nothing, all the while being part of a farce instead of being treated seriously?
If he wasnt I fancy Freddie to snatch a draw.Seriously I think Flintoff and the McGuigans would actually laugh at the suggestion.I dont think there are many heavyweights in GB good enough to be Joshs first pro fight, other than the top 5 or 6.
