I know Joshua would never get knocked down by anyone witha 20% k.o percentage light puncher Jimmy young....yes..... And its not about chins its about whos going to get hit,and Foreman would look 2x as bad as his Stewart fight where it looked like he was jumped! 1970's foreman wont look that bad bc that fight isnt going past 3 with foreman weak defense and brawling style.......
No, he but he did get knocked OUT by someone with no professional fights. So you got that going for you which is nice.
Wow! What a horrible post. Twist things anyway you want, but Foreman would ALWAYS beat Joshua, and I can sum it up in one word "CHIN".
Chin is exaclty a good point and in many foreman fights of him being rocked and down in some to guys with a fraction of Joshuas power and skil sets...well that goes to joshua who wil land the first meaningful punches! good job! Im also pretty sure Wlad hit harder than 220 Foreman as well....
Joshua's best weight is 240-245. Foreman's best weight is like 220-225. That's a 20 pound difference and in the HW division that's not really all that much.
AJ brutally kos young GF. Old Foreman might survive to lose a lopsided decision. But probably gets a mercy stoppage on his feet before hand
It's a huge difference, around 10% body mass. Who was the last 220 or under hw champ? And George RELIED on his size and strength.
Foreman used to be known as "big George" because he was big compared to the rest of the division But these days he would not be seen is big, but average size
Young George knocks AJ into Bolivian. Ol George wins by KO or decision. Joshua has mediocre speed and power, and his chin would not survive getting landed on by George.
He could potentially beat both versions but im not sold on AJ's chin or stamina. Wlad was 41 years old and relatively gunshy. Even an old Foreman would not let AJ off the hook and had excellent stamina. Old foremans cross arm defense wpuld make for some interesting early rounds. It likely goes all 12 unless AJ gets reckless and opens up walking into a right hand or he runs out of stamina. Pre Zaire Foreman stops AJ. Fearless, brutal, granite chin, piston like jab, vicious body shots, underrated stamina and ring generalship, powerful hooks and uppercuts. Never took a step back and cut the ring off well. Post Zaire Foreman lacked the confidence, stamina, punching arsenal, and viciousness of his previous fights. He became an awkward weird boxer puncher but kept his right hand low and was open to overhands. He still had tremendous power and a will to win. AJ likely wins but he would need to be careful.
