This. Both Georges have better stamina, both Georges could take his shots and both would finish Joshua the moment he starts to fade.
I think what Foreman showed during both of his careers is way more impressive and telling compared to whatever Joshua has done in his. Like he faced some of the best guys ever in the heavyweight division from two different eras and still looked competetive against both eras. Sure he "lacked" stamina in the fight vs Ali but that was some insane ammount of hard punching he did there. Joshua gassed out after a round at that pace while Foreman gassed out at around 6-7 at that pace.
He indeed was. He was probably TBE at cutting of the ring(at HW), he had Great balance, he had a helluva jab that'd hurt his opponent, he could throw power punches from weird angles, and could throw killing uppercuts with both Hands, also a rare attribute.
Uhm, no. Foreman was crude as hell and simply overpowered his opponents which he routinely outweighted by 25+ lbs. Regarding AJ, let's put it this way. The aged version of Wlad which AJ stopped in a close fight -- that old Wlad would have handily beat any version of Foreman. And AJ beat that Wlad. AJ would smack prime Foreman around like he was a ragdoll.
Uhm, yes. Refute any of the points I made. You can't overpower your opponent when you can't cut the ring off on them. You can't snap your opponents head back every time you Land a jab when you don't have a good jab. You can't score KOs with uppercuts with both Hands if you don't have good offensive skillset. And he only outweighed Smoking Joe by 3 lbs when he beat the living **** out of him, not 20-25. As for your 2nd paragraph, if 6'3, 220 lbs, inexperienced, limited Jennings was able to be competitive with that old Wlad, I'm pretty sure prime Big George would do more than hold his own.
Logical fallacy of authority. Every time you post you get called out for logical fallacies. Of course that means nothing to you because you don't know what a logical fallacy even is.
Foreman, both versions, brings too much to the table. A lot of these type of comparisons are unfair to guys like Joshua. It is too early to tell how good he might become. I am not sold on him though. He may have a lower ceiling than most would think. Foreman really is a great and so I would have to go with him at this point. The next few years will tell us what we need to know. Joshua has the heart though and wants to fight and improve.
