You have no idea what you are talking about "Raped am innocent escort " ROFL
Ike never touched that hooker. He never fought with the cops either. He was railroaded just like Tyson. I knew Ike from the time he arrived ay Curtis Cokes gym & watcjed Virtus transform him from a crude slugger to a great boxer puncher. Ike would have destroyed Joshua

At this point, about 50/50, toss up. Joshua has beaten more rated opponents, although you could argue the two that Ibeabuchi beat were better.

The ceiling for Joshua, however, is far higher. Ibeabuchi is probably the most overrated HW of the last 20-30 years, a fact to which some of the comments in this thread clearly attests.

    Good for you.

Now for real world events.....who besides Tua who both Lewis and Byrd beat easier and Byrd himself did he beat to warrant such lofty status and praise?

What athletic big man like a Lewis/Wlad/Vitali did he face or beat?

If Joshua wins, its by points. If Ike wins, its by knockout.

Only in the boxing realm where one guy cut his career short, accomplished little and not nearly fought the right guys to even gauge a Joshua fight is overated and then you have another already much more proven but will be analysed and underrated for no apparent reason for a good 5 years MINIMUM watch....lmao

People are claiming Joshua too slow, stiff , muscular and robotic have also never watched a IKE fight BC that's certainly more him and he gets praised for these things that you detract from Joshua? ......:babeando:

Ike would defeat ALOT of guys on sheer size alone....the bigger more skilled Joshua isn't one of them.

The problem with fighters that have careers cut short is that we never get to see their flaws exposed against a wider range of styles. People only see the strengths they displayed and ignore any possible flaws or weaknesses and so these fighters gain mythical status which more proven fighters can't compete with as they've been tested in ways the fighter with the short career never was.

Had Ruddock retired after they Tyson fights you'd probably have some people now picking him to KO Lewis because he was too durable and powerful. If Golota retired after the Bowe fights you'd also have some picking him over Lewis. Had Tyson retired after the Bruno fights, he'd have been favoured over everyone who followed.

With Ruddock and Tyson you could still gage them with the fights they fought.

Ruddock would still had a few bumps with taller fighters he still won but I don't believe he would have been over Lewis with what Lewis accomplished...not enough to go on with a Tyson who was 5'10 and off point.

Ike is in the same boat as Ruddock BC his best win is Tua at 5'10 so what do you on with that along with Byrd who was outboxing Ike bf getting to confident ? However a M.Tyson is still a tough fight for anyone in 91.

Ike was very clunky at 6'2 230/240 ,and stiff but he's unbeatable? Joshua is very athletic all around the board and has counterpunching skills with better punch selection in the full package.......

    I don't really get it...but that's boxing.

Put a poll up and its a landslide win for Ike and the reason would be he's to big and strong the main thing they critisize the better proportioned Joshua for? HaHa

I like Ike, and I thought he was talented. But we don't know much about him, honestly. His big claims to fame are beating 2 shorter heavyweights.

Ike. Too skilled, iron chin and had a gas tank like an Expedition. Wears AJ down before knocking him out.

For those of you saying some of us "overrate Ike" or "he`s become this mythical monster" you are clueless! This guy was 6`3 built like a tank, iron chin, hand speed, ring iq, skilled, stamina off the charts and a high work rate. How does this all not add up to an absolute monster? Some guys pass the eye test and while im not saying he beats everyone this dude wouldve been a problem for Lewis, the Klit bros and anyone else who was around at the time. Id definitely favor him over a lot of guys especially todays heavies.
