6 rounds to 3 rounds with 1 round tied is not a close fight and I never said that it was. What I'm pointing out is that you should look up the definition of "destroyed" before using it. If Tyson was "destroyed" he wouldn't have won 3 rounds and got a knockdown. That's what I'm saying.

 

I don`t what fight you were watching, Douglas pitched a shut-out aside from the round he was knocked down and even had Tyson going in that round, the uppercut on Buster was one last hail Mary for Tyson.

 

Pitched a shut out is a baseball term used when there is actually a shut out Not almost a shut out.
Hail mary is a football term used when you only have 1 chance left so you put it all on the line Not when theres 2 rounds left and Tyson gets a Knock down.
Are you going to use a golfing term next or maybe a shuffle board term? This is Boxing so try to stay focused.
Tyson did alot better then your giving him credit for. Tyson wasent "Destroyed" as you tend to exaggerate. But then again it appears you dont even know what sport your in.

 

Tyson was on his way out in that round, he was ready to go, literally on the ropes, the uppercut saved him.

 

Thats not true. Tyson was temporaily on the ropes because Douglas was using his head and shoulders like a spear to push Tyson backwards onto the ropes Not because he landed a huge shot and put Tyson on the ropes. Not to mention the ref was allowing Douglas to hit on the break.
A clean jab, a blocked right cross and a body shot was all that landed for Douglas in that sequence everthing else was missed or a graze.
Tyson was fighting fatigue more than he was fighting Douglas.
