Anthony Joshua vs Kubrat Pulev is set for December 12th

That's a pretty darn good run of heavyweight fights this winter. Will make whatever version of lockdown we're stuck in less grim.

 

Cool glad we aren't wasting anymore time on a fight that is in the way of bigger things. Pulev is still a live opponent but I expect Joshua to take care of business.

 

Very nice. Think is, the winter months are usually a lull for heavyweight boxing, so if these fights come off, then we really haven't lost that much this year at heavy.

Gassiev vs Seferi

As fights that will at least get some guys back in the mix.

 

Gassiev´s hw debut and opponent is a cruiser.. OK, good job!

Good Lord. That might be the least-flattering photo of Kubrat Pulev I've ever seen. (LOL)

Looks like he's yelling at Joshua to get off his lawn.

There are more Fury highlights in that clip than Pulev highlights. Never a good sign when Eddie spends more time selling "the next" fight rather than the one coming up.

 

If AJ doesn't call out Fury and say he wants it next then he is ducking & scared to death of Fury.

 

Finally we'll be able to move on from Pulev.

 

AJ waited until he's near 40. He'd better win cleanly. Tough to tell how much Pulev has left, but in the past he was a solid boxer with enough power to get respect.

 

Pulev gets dropped with a LH. AJ tries to finish him to reclaim the destroyer status, but Pulev smothers and grapples to survive. AJ exhausts himself and starts awkwardly moving around with his mouth drooping. A recovered Pulev goes on a jab rampage, breaking AJ down. Three rounds later, a vicious jab sends AJ to the canvas like Yarde before him and he is counted out.
Hearn/Sky/Pundits all claim that the jab would have KO'd a horse and that AJ would win this fight 9/10 times.
