There are no comparisons between those two as skilled fighters. As others have said already, it's much fairer to compare Aj with Bruno. Of Bruno was around during Aj time, I expect he would do as well, or maybe better than Aj

AJ is a better athlete in the purest form of the word.

Lewis is the better boxer in all elements. Fighting was not an emotional stress for Lewis, he genuinely loved it. That is the biggest difference for me

 

Possibly natural strength but you won’t bet on it.

 

Mercer gave Holyfield and Lewis hard fights. Was a pretty good fighter. I regret my post if anything.

Absolutely I agree 100% with this. When I watch AJ and Lennox fight, I see two completely different skill sets, and I don't believe that AJ has a single punch that he throws better than Lewis. Lenox threw far better punches against far better competition.

Lennox was fluid, smooth and natural when he fought. AJ is extremely robotic, and does not think very well in the ring at all. The difference between their skill sets are night and day in my opinion.

 

I think even guys from 75 could be competitive today to be clear. I mean foreman in late 40s beat Briggs

 

The only thing Aj might do better than Lewis is his combination punching, but that gets negated by his suspect chin against live fighters.
