Lewis and AJ clearly don’t like each other and there is nothing that says they have to. I understand where the issues come from and each is his own man.

 

I know this thread was made back when the Joshua hype train was running at full steam but I'm amazed there are people who thinks Joshua would win.

Lewis jab would dismantle him.

 

Joshua has still got 2-3 years before he's in his prime IMO. He still has work to do on making his jab more consistent, perfecting his straight right hands and managing his stamina.

 

Just watch the Grant bout highlights and imagine he has Joshua's face.

 

Lennox is eons ahead of Joshua !!!! It’s not even close !!! Lennox showed sum real grit against bruno and especially in the Mercer bout !!! I really doubt aj can even finish 8 rds with Mercer !

 

This did not age well at all.

 

Might be a good match until Lennox hurts him a few rounds in. Lennox all day.

 

I do like Joshua but I do think Lennox takes him out in a few rounds. Different level of skills and confidence.

2 or 3 years left until he's in his prime? There is absolutely no way that he will be better in 2 or 3 years. The only way he looks better in 2 or 3 years is if he is well-managed.

 

80-20 fight in favor of Lennox. Which is almost identical to the voting tally.

I pick the Vitali that lost to Lennox to take AJ out.

The comment in the OP back in 2019 “ AJ will tear America to shreds !! “ That aged well. Some other golden comments in this thread as well,it just shows what changes can happen in 2 years in Boxing . Matchroom certainly did a good job of hyping Joshua up to the max !
