Aj’s style would pose problems for Lewis, that stand up classic style, the robotic Bruno had a lot of moments in his fight with Lewis and Aj is just much better than Bruno.
Can Aj beat Dubois though. That’s the question of the week. Good fight

Lewis was a step above Joshua in punching power and deftness. From an overall perspective he might as well have been from a superior universe.

AJ would have no time to set himself, though he would make a more than adequate showing before the inevitable end. Just when fans are getting complacent, Lewis lands a ferocious right hand that floors him hard in the 2nd. Joshua holds until the bell, but in the 3rd is coldcocked for good.

Everyone is picking Lennox Lewis. If AJ finds this thread, his feelings will be hurt!

AJ is still a fine fighter, but I still haven't been able to make room for him even on a top 25 ATG list.

    I would favor Lewis.
I think he's a more proven fighter, especially against punchers.
Both are very athletic (especially for their size), similar chin (just above average but not very good), also they are very close in punching power (difficult to say who hit harder at their level).
Joshua may be quicker but I think Lewis speed is a little underrated and he had a better defensive awareness.
Like others have said, Lewis is more versatile and more "rugged" especially on the clinches, which combined with his superior jab and experience would give him the edge.
Of course, Joshua could have his moments but I think Lewis superior ring IQ will help him win a competitive contest.
Also, the mental side shouldn't be neglected, and Lewis is one of the few boxer who could always remain impassible before fights, he had a very impressive ability to control his emotions which is clearly not the case for Joshua.

The only way I can see AJ winnin' is if Lennox is either workin' on Ocean Eleven set or just understimatin' him and doing his Alì impression: otherwise nope lmao
