Bear in mind who he was fighting
And how Wilder just seems to allow fighters to do well until he picks his moment

I still think he looked awful and Wilder could have picked him off a lot sooner down the channel

Great? Ortiz was boxing far better than Washington against and would have toyed with Miller.

I have zero confidence in Joshua,, Ortiz knows where the brass ring is,,hanging on AJ's chin.

Joshua is the heavyweight Amir Khan literally anyone has a reasonable chance against him, he will still win some fights but it'll never be long until that chin gets clipped and he just cannot hold a shot.

Khan was more reckless than AJ, all he had was speed and nothing more.

That guy has an agenda. Just shits on AJ excessively. Says extremely far fetched stuff constantly like Pulev would rock AJ with just a jab. Take what this troll says with a pinch of salt.

There was definitely a time when Ortiz would have given AJ a good fight. Even now I wouldn't say it's a complete walkover for AJ but he would win comfortably enough

If Joshua stands toe to toe with Ortiz for too long I can see him getting knocked out

Lol he went toe to toe with Klitschko and Ortiz isn’t half the fighter Wlad was, doesn’t have good stamina at all and Ortiz isn’t durable anymore and his chin was never great. AJ could spark Ortiz out anyway he wanted. Stop hyping up Ortiz to be some Cuban warrior he’s a hypejob who was overrated by Wildettes to make Wilder look good. He’s a 6 round fighter who has a bad gas tank. If Wilder who is way less durable than Joshua could survive flu n toe to toe with Ortiz then AJ most definitely could as well. But why would he even do it? He can beat Ortiz and spark him without risking it in the first place, Wilder had to exchange because he was being outboxed.

He also went toe to toe with Ruiz and got beaten up. Something very few expected to happen.

Ortiz doesn’t have half the inside game or a quarter the hand speed and Ortiz can only throw like 3 shots in a row before he’s ****ed.

Wlad didn't have a good inside game either, which is more my point.
