AJ's daddy Bakole couldn't do the Congo Dongo on Hunter's head but he did it multiple times in the gym to AJ with big gloves and head gear on. AJ would've been laid out on his back from the right hand that the ref took at the end there This content is protected
Ok, meanwhile... AJ is where? and Bakole is where now???? Sparring is sparring, you been part of a boxing forum for a while now you should know this. Dillian Whyte laughed his arse off at Hunter as an opponent for AJ. But you know better than Dillian yeah... are you a pro Serge? Boxing analyst?
AJ is on the blower with E-Hearn as we speak arguing vehemently and instructing him to lowball Hunter so he doesn't take the fight Bakole just became the first man in the history to score a legit stoppage win over the fighter with the best chin in boxing and he'll be heading off to spar AJ next week to do the Congo Dongo on his head again. lol Hunter would deal with Whyte even easier than he will AJ Not anymore I'm not but let's just say I was pretty handy in my day This content is protected
And hunter would be KOed by these This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected
It's possible but Hunter has been in with far harder punchers than AJ. Former sparring partner of a prime Wlad. ie. not the decrepit inactive shell who'd lost at least 35% of his speed who AJ fought. Fought the beastly punching Islam Timurziez in the ams He also beat Andy Ruiz in the ams, the same Ruiz who Joseph Parker says hits a lot harder than AJ This content is protected 'When quizzed about Joshua's claims, Parker's trainer Kevin Barry responded: "Joe mentioned to me afterwards, saying 'It was funny, I thought the guy would hit harder than he actually did'. "There's no reason for him to lie to me. He said that Andy Ruiz hit a lot harder than Joshua. "But we knew that coming into the fight. Anthony Joshua is a not a one punch knock out guy, he's not going to knock you out with one punch, he is going to hit you with three or four punches and I think we saw that last night. "He's a big guy and he has got muscles upon muscles but that doesn't mean you are the heaviest puncher in the world.' And he's sparred with Donkey Wilder too. Even went to war with him This content is protected And obviously AJ's daddy Bakole who Wach said is the hardest puncher he's ever faced. Wach fought the murderous punching Wlad for goodness sake who hits way harder than AJ. Hunter has never touched the canvas, AJ was sparked out in the gym by David Price, knocked bandy-legged and stopped by Nistor in the ams, dropped like he'd been shot in the face at point range by the shell of Wlad, dropped by Dillian Whyte in the ams and nearly KO'd by a one-armed Whyte in the pros, and dropped in sparring multiple times. Bakole did the Congo Dongo on his head. And Hunter and AJ have sparred each other twice too.
Hunter is a harder fight for AJ than Miller IMO. That said, I still think Joshua KO's Hunter in 7 rounds or less.
Hunter is so easy to hit, doesn't really hit hard or have speed on his side either and when you factor in the size difference it's a farce of a main event for AJ's debut in America. Easy TKO win for AJ. I'm still holding on to some hope that Ortiz takes the fight.
Would like to see this fight actually. Hunter is fun to watch - he has to work his way inside to get things done against the bigger HW’s, and so is naturally slippery and aggressive. Would be fun to watch. Unfortunately for him, that same natural approach would be what would lead to him being viciously KO’d by Joshua. The much bigger Joshua brutalises him on the inside, and can also box at range and pick him off coming in. But Hunter will make it fun whilst it lasts. For what it’s worth, I see Hunter peaking at around Jennings level. Good solid HW, well conditioned with solid skills - just slightly too small and consistently outmatched to overcome the top guys.
