The quick and talented Terrell could not land anything clean on Ali, a few grazing punches that is all. Joshua being far slower would just be toyed with, and made to look a fool.

Ali was indeed great at moving side by side you complete, utter moron. He was also Great at moving in and out. You ****ing imbecile are cherrypicking the footage, just like you cherrypicked my previous post and ducked the rest of it like a ******.

    You're obviously trolling.
If not the simpleton quote is quite ironic, because you simply have no idea of how clueless and ridiculous you are.
You see Ali is my favourite all time fighter, but i'm a boxing fan first and four most I love them all, even Anthony Joshua, who I believe could possibly and I say possibly go on to be the number 1 heavyweight of his generation.
However if people express an opinion that Joe Louis, Jack Johnson,Larry Holmes, Mike Tyson or Lennox Lewis and some others are greater than Ali then that's no problem, it's legitimate opinion because they were all great fighters who achieved.
You're virtually arguing that Anthony Joshua is the greatest heavyweight who ever lived on the basis of 18 or so fights against tomato cans and nobodies.
You're trying to sell us skills and attributes you see in Joshua in relation to Ali that simply don't exist, what are you watching? Are you blind?
At the end of the day through all your "analysis" and bluster, you're just another nuthugging fanboy on here who's credibility as a poster is zilch.

That right there seems to be a problem around here. Too many people are an exact reverse of that which makes them ignore the obvious and invent stuff that isn't there.

I'm pretty sure that Ali would be an out-of-context problem for AJ

The argument is Joshua vs Ali (prime), No-one has stated AJ is the greatest who ever lived.

For the record, I am on the fence but the argument for Joshua is less emotional and more matter-of-fact.

I look forward to the continuing discussion but everyone should keep in mind the size disparity, The heavyweight division has left men of Ali's dimensions behind.

It's not proven that an exceptional fighter of Ali's dimensions could not succeed.

What are the best examples of huge weight disparities being bridged by exceptional skills in boxing history?

And I don't want to hear Mayweather Jr vs The Big Show or such like.

Valuev v Haye, but thats more to do with size disparity than skills

Valuevs whole career supports the Joshua argument more than Ali's in my mind. Also Haye didn't do enough to take a champions belt for me that night despite getting the nod.

Wasn't Carnera also quite a poor boxer?

Give me an example that compares, I want to believe….

RJJ beating Ruiz is the only one I can think that would maybe support the Ali side?

    How so?

Then take Valuev's loss to 5'11 225 lbs Chagaev as an example.
