I am quite sure the heat did in fact affect Ali, I am also of the opinion Foreman was more affected for obvious reasons. Do you think Ali beats Foreman without the unusually high temperature?

"Prime" Ali would not have hung against the ropes with Foreman. If Foreman gassed with an "old" Ali, he would have had a heart attack trying to catch up with the prime version.

I think Ali had his number Foreman had trouble with slicksters, he couldn't do anything with Jimmy Young.

Again, I only Said that as a contributing factor to look at you Complete imbecile. Didn't even highlight it, It was just a side note. One round that could support the argument why Vitali hated the speed. That's all there's to it. You just feel forced to comment on something, as you haven't been able to keep up with any arguments other than to parrot the same ****(wah wah AJ is big, wahwah Ali got KD by Cooper).

You conveniently ducked the part where I highlighted the Byrd, Donald and gomez fights bc you're not knowledgable to comment on them and as the casual fan you are, there's a %99.999999 chance you've never seen the Gomez and Donald fights in your life.

And the last part of your post, tell me moron, is Deontay Wilder a better boxer than Sugar Ray Leonard?

If Joshua fought the Fraziers/Follies/ Mildenbergers/ Quarries/ Coopers etc...anyone like that, they would be 1st rnd jobs almost always ..No commission today is going to approve match-ups like that today.

The CLOSEST type of opponent to Joshua would be Foreman..This is foreman in 18 fights.

George Foreman 18-0, 15 KO 1970, age 21, no contender 3 years before title

These guys WEAK AZZ argument is all about ATG status bc they know their is no possiblility of Joshua fighting ANYONE Ali fought...the funny thing is why would he and why would ANYONE other than foreman (punchers chance ) be a threat to him?

Anthony Joshua beats Ali and Frazier... I had Ali losing to Light Heavyweight Doug Jones when he had about as much experience as Joshua.. Ali also was tagged, floored, and beaten by left hooks by the wide open hooker Frazier. Ali lacked the power to hold the short 205 pounder with limited ability off him. Frazier finally faced a big, strong, and solid true HW Foreman it was no secret who would win. Imagine Joshua in THAT era?

Joshua is bigger/ taller/outweighed Foreman and is far quicker and more importantly smarter and more talented but Ali is going to win anyway? Vitali may even be more difficult right now for Ali but wouldn't matter ,complete mismatches regardless.

Complete idiocy but that's why its a forum. :drink:

Al defeated a prime George Foreman who was the most feared man on the planet, he would toy with Joshua and KO him.

For such an Ali FANBOY ( you self admitted it ) why are you calling others fanboy/nuthuggers..( typical nostalgic nutcase)this is why you come off foolish with the incorrect knowledge bc your nut hugging is actually blocking your view.

Ali liked punching down on in all his fights he RELIED on it to look effective most of the time (note Joshua is much lengthier) Moore, and on Joe Frazier in their three fights, relying on his length and speed to pull him out of the way when they returned punches. The minus of punching down at an opponent is, that you are standing close enough to hit, with your hands down by your waist. Against Frazier, this resulted in plenty of moments of Frazier drilling him with left hooks yet the GREAT Ali could not avoid them in that zone could he?

Heres a vid that demonstrates this in discussing with Joe Frazier with a young Ali. Ali's dropping his hands for the uppercut/hook cost him in the bout with Frazier exactly as D'amato predicted it would and if Frazier gets away with this what do you think the MUCH bigger stronger Joshua is going to do ?:jump1:

Fraziers approach was not just inferior to Joshuas but Joshua did not lean heavy waist forward to get hit ALOT. He has great balance and uses the catch counter style...Ali would literally be Fukced! You folk lore story tellers are suggesting Ali should win when WE ALL know about 1 % of this Forum and in boxing general would pick Ali over Joshua if Ali was around today and without the 60's era that grew him.

Joshua would advance forward with ADVANCED footwork unlike Frazier who had to stop and go due to bending over at the waiste...this is NOT Joshua. The only time he does this is when rolling under punches and coming up with hooks, those SAME hooks Ali couldnt block!

When you look at some sub par competition champs like Dempsey, Louis, Liston, Marciano, Ali, Holmes, fought they didn't always look that great against average guys. Ali and Tyson lost massive upsets while Frazier was unable to get a punching bag like Bonavena out ( he almost lost to him as well in TWO rnds). Yet are going to spew B.S about Joshua who by far and IF you know what skills actually look like is well ahead of the curve in HIS OWN era.

I don't think you're going to see Joshua fight anyone as bad or as small as Don Cockell, Alfredo Evangelista, , Terry Daniels, Billy Conn, Rudi Lubbers, Zorra Folley / Henry cooper/Tom McNeeley, Richard Dunn, Red Burman, or dozens of other poorly trained and tiny boxers who fought for the Heavyweight Title over the years..let alone the PAST era champions themselves! Deal with it! And maybe LEARN about actual boxing instead of down sizing BETTER skilled ones. :SimpHomer:

Could you imagine Richard Dunn fighting on the TV today at heavyweight? People would literally **** themselves laughing their ass off. That was some hilarious footwork.

Let's look at some of these dominant monsters Ali had to beat on his first title reign.
Floyd Patterson why was Ali fighting such a washed up opponent, and why did it take 12 rounds for Ali to get rid of 196 pound light punching midget.
George Chuvalo 34-11 losses, also coming off a loss to a cruiserweight, and had lost 2 of his last 3 fights.
Henry Cooper Ali wants to rematch a oppoent he has a 20 pound weight advantage and 8 year age advantage over.
Brian London 35-11 losses bum and this is a world championship fight lol, what a weak era.
Karl Midenberger with a weak 30% KO rate who got his title shot by beating Ivan Prebeg who had a weak record of 13-9. Yes that is all you have to do to get a title shot in this weak era, just beat a complete bum.
Cleveland Williams 9 years older than Ali. A shadow of himself, could not train for a year, because of a gunshot wound, he had 7 feet of his intestines removed and part of his kidneys leaving him limping against Ali in the ring, literally a handicapped oppoent.
Zora Folly gets his title shot by beating three bums Floyd Joyner 22-11 losses, Jefferson Davis 28-10 losses, and Henry Clark 8-2 losses.
Yes Ali looked great in the 60s, because the era was so weak.
