    These clowns are clueless.

What's the point in mentioning Cooper and Mildenburger when AJ fights nothing like them?

Doug Jones gave Ali a good fight.

How would he have done with Foreman?

    Frazier's style gave Ali hell.

    Frazier was crushed by Foreman.

What happened when Ali fought Foreman?

These c*nts can't give an actual breakdown, so they've resorted to BoxRec, where they'll pick out names of guys who they know nothing about.

    Pathetic.

Joshua got caught by Whyte who is 1 inch taller than Ali, but about 20lbs heavier. If Whyte was in better shape he would be around 220 and would most likely be a better fighter. Joshua hasn't fought anyone with mobility or good Hand speed yet.

Terrell was the same height as Joshua with a similar reach and got worked over by Ali. Joshua does hit harder than Terrell, but Joshua also telegraphs all his shots and gasses mid fight after 5 or six rounds if his opponent doesn't stand in front of him.

    Joshua vs. Whyte

Well continue on now you nostalgic lunatic...be sure to take time to breath and ventilate. joshua does hold records for his weight at 235. The only thing funny is you thinking if you keep posting to me it somehow is going to go your way when in fact i will just show what a utter fool you are and go about things.

I saw a big heavy Joseph Parker being push by a small overweight heavy. He was actually tentative and beaten to the punch. Not once manage to assert his dominance in the fight. No offense to Parker and no offense to Joshua. But this youngster time have not arrived. We need to see more in coming years what they are made of.
Big heavies do not necessary beat smaller ones from the past. It depends if they are actually skillful enough.
Arguments can be made for Lewis and Klitsckos that they are better than Ali or Louis. But mainly not because of their size, but because they have all time skill as well.
Joshua might be proven on later date to be great, but at this stage there are too many unknown qualities.
I have Ali boxed him circle, bewildered him ala William.
Ali can punch up and straight, and definitely have enough power to hurt Joshua.

Warning: If you ever try to say size matters in boxing or in any way compare a legend to a guy starting out you'll be permabanned! Lol

After Joshua fought Molina he said "I tried to dance and do my best Ali impression, but it didn't work out."

Joshua can't move at nearly the same pace as Ali. The difference in speed and ring generaliship will be stark.
Can Joshua perform some fast explosive attacks and moves? Of course, but that's not the same at staying level with a guy who is dancing and dodging for 10+ rounds, with abnormal reflexes and senses.

These SuperHeavyweights have serious stamina issues that are fine for dealing with most fighters. But you can't slow down in round 4 against Ali. Joshua, and every single other SHW slows down considerably half way through a tough fight. Izu couldn't breath after round 4, that's not normal for world class boxing.

Once Ali starts landing jabs and straights, and moving out of the way before Joshua can react, Anthony will start getting more and more frustrated.

Joshua's main strengths here is his power, his strength, his durability, his balance and his technique. If he fights a super smart fight, perhaps he can win a decision against a 70's Ali. But he would get beat by 60's Ali who was too gifted.

For people bringing up the Cooper knockdown. So what if Henry was small? Fury got knocked down by one of the smallest fighters in the division. It happens. There are heavyweights on the smaller end who can crack, and who can box. Always has been, always will be.

Ali could not beat Norton let alone someone with Joshua's size and power. Total mismatch.

"Joshua has not fought anybody with good mobility or hand speed yet." That is actually a good argument. Until Joshua fights someone like Haye, or Parker we have no idea how he would deal with somebody small and fast like Ali.

Style wise in Ali's peak...I doubt Joshua would land a punch. As Tyson said of Ali "he'd take you into deep waters and drown you". Ali's chin was steel. Sure there were moments against Cooper & Frazier but I still put them ahead of AJ from a skill perspective. Peak Ali is on a different level to AJ in my opinion.

Joshua was only able to survive and take over the fight against Dillian Whyte because of boxing skill (nothing spectacular was needed here). Ali's boxing absolutely dwarfs Joshua's.
Ali is the best heavyweight ever. The only boxer I'm ok with people saying beats him, is a prime Lennox Lewis. Is Joshua on Lewis's level? lol.

Agreed. Ali is the goat but...I had Norton beating Ali twice. Ali was beatable but seemed to rise to the occasion more often than not. A prime Holmes, Bowe & Holyfield would have all been interesting fantasy fights :)
