I don't think it's a good idea to try a new, heavier build in such a difficult fight as this. If he'd tried it out against Chisora and got a feel for what is to move around for 12 with extra bulk then it would be one thing, but do it first time against Joshua doesn't sound like a good idea.

Joshua is coming across as really nervous in the few interviews I've seen from him.

Usyk on the other hand is juggling.

A hot headed person who only comes at you one way,and only when their temper is up could never intimidate usyk

Not saying aj is that way at all, just a random thought:

Usyks one of them cold guys who lets the hot heads waste energy being angry, would set about you without giving it a thought - a true collected "just business" look in those wild eyes

    AJ looks nervious

Usyk looks like a champion with his mentality

Thinking about it, Michale Spinks put on even more to face Holmes and that went well. The same with Leonard against Hagler, so I don't know.

It's going to be interesting to see what they weigh-in at in any case. Even if Usyk is 230 and AJ only 235, Joshua is going to have substantially more power and likely be substantially stronger as well. On the other hand, I think Usyk needs to have enough power to get Joshua's respect and maybe he has to bulk up to get that.

Usyk could go for a TKO win. Combination of punches that stops the fight. He's capable of doing that. I don't think he's cable of truly KO'ing Joshua though.

Because of the size difference and Joshua's power I don't think Usyk will get the opportunity to unload frequently on him. AJ has so far only really left himself open after being stunned/hurt by a single hard punch (or in the case of Ruiz, two very rapid hooks) and Usyk doesn't really have that single punch.

He gets into a rhytm and wears the other guy down with constant punching, he's not the one to wait for a sudden opening and lower the boom. And the former tactic is very hard to do against someone of Joshua's size, power and accuracy when you're the smaller guy.

I can conceivably see Fury overwhelm Joshua with lots of punches, because he has the height and reach to do it from the outside. Usyk has to get inside AJ:s range to do so, quite a bit inside, and that's a totally different ball game.

Yeah - I did actually have a ringside seat in my basket for £2k, and was tempted to do a bit of legalised touting by buying it and putting it back on Stubhub for about £6k! Decided not to in the end, so hopefully some proper boxing fan bought it rather than one of Stubhub's bots.

How much did yours cost? My friends got us all tickets from viagogo for £80 quid each but turns out they're right at the back lol.

£66 each incl booking fee (£60 face value) - Row 34, which is decent enough, its about 14 rows behind my seat at Spurs.
It was however the worst experience in trying to buy tickets I've ever had for any event. I have a Matchroom pass, so got access to tickets a day early. Unfortunately, whoever wrote the code for the Matchroom/Stubhub website was probably on crack. It automatically refreshed the page/site every 10 seconds (or less) - so whenever you tried to add tickets to your basket, the website would refresh and you'd lose them.
