If you want to say Whyte is a poor fighter sure but by your logic if "Usyk is better than Whyte because he beat Chsiora easier" than i can say Pulev is better than Usyk because he beat Chsiora easier than Usyk. Styles mske fights. Don't forget it

It was his second heavyweight fight but since thats the case you don't have much evidence to prove he's Aj's most dangerous opponent since Wladimir because "he's only had 2 fights at heavyweight"

Whats your point ? You said Usyk is undisputed Cruiserweight champion and he's "prime" but does it matter THAT much ? As I've already said Cruiserweight is not heavyweight. If you're claiming Usyk at heavyweight is Joshua's most dangerous opponent since Wlad then you must provide evidence of that for Usyk at heavyweight. Also if "prime" was everything then Vitali should have lost to Chsiora

You brought up the Chisora theory in regards to Pulev.

When did I say Povetkin and Pulev fought at Cruiserweight?

I brought that up because that's Usyks best win at heavyweight and thats the win that people bring up to "prove" Usyk beats Aj, when Pulev also beat Chisora comfortably. Usyk is better than Pulev but he's not that proven at heavyweight so i don't understand why people think Usyk schools him.

And i misread what you said

But Vitali didn’t and he’s levels above Chisora, Povetkin and Pulev, that’s why certain boxers achieve higher levels in the sport.

If you are telling me that beating a 38/39 version of a fighter is better than beating them n their primes whenever that is as different fighters have different “primes” but 38/39 yo Povetkin and Pulev certainly were removed from theirs.

As for Usyk being dangerous, it’s called skills son and we will soon see.

    AJ via Decision

Usyk is an excellent operator and boxer; however, I haven't been extremely impressed by him at HW. I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt as AJ could just overwhelm him by subtly cutting off that ring towards the later rounds. I’m mysteriously proud of our resident tribalistic posters sticking to script and remaining piously loyal to Usyk.

Looking forward to them scrapping if it happens.

I never said that. A prime version of a fighter is obviously better than an old version but an old version of a fighter can still be more dangerous than some others fighters, and styles make fights. Take Foreman, he is the easiest example. Old past it Foreman gave Holyfield a significantly more difficult fight than prime Alex Stewart. Also old Povetkin beat Whyte quickly, something Chisora couldn't do.

For me makes a lot of fun A.J fans.
Dude really is proven as successful to beat 38+ y.o boxers.
With younger boxers he always doesn't looks so impressive: 2 fights vs Ruiz, 1 fight vs Parker: he didn't had finished them.
Vs Takam he looked even less impressive than smaller than he Povetkin and still : A.J beats everyone and is so proven and so cool.

If he had beated Wilder and Fury, I had agreed that he is cool No1.
A.J should also have 3 rd fight vs Ruiz and 2 nd fight vs Parker to test him better.

Foreman is unique not casual norm.
He also had took little damage in 70 ies and some lay off period from fighting before comeback.

And Briedis beat Charr quicker than a 34yo Povetkin, so what?

Surrix bringing up age again rather than the quality of fighter themselves -.-

41 yo Wlad would destroy most of the young fighters around these days. Stop bringing up age as an argument to determine the quality of opponent, you keep doing this on so many ****ing threads.

Who's better 38 year Povetkin than fought AJ or a 30 year old Whyte? 41 year old Wlad or a 26 year old Parker?

True but thats it. Povetkin has done so much more at heavyweight. Briedis went the distance with Perez, the same Perez that got wiped out by Povetkin beforehand. It happens

Exactly and just shows that you cannot gauge a fighter on comparing fight results.

    Let’s just see what happens.

I already know, i was just saying Usyk only has 2 fights at heavyweight so i don't see why the fight is 50/50 in most peoples eyes. He's still a little unproven. Usyk has also put on weight and that could hinder him so theres that
