This content is protected Where are all the people who said that Joshua would duck a guy who he beat in the amateurs? Let's see Joshua produce a great performance here. A lot of people rate Wallin here so when Joshua does the business I hope you give him the credit. Wilder vs Parker also expected to feature on the same card. It would be great for everyone if this event happened.
Would be better if they swapped the opponents round and I see absolutely no reason why it can’t be the case. How much money do Joshua and Wilder really need?
I presume the plan is to do a faceoff after the main event and announce that they will next fight each other in 2024 in Saudi Arabia. No problem if that happens. Parker and Wallin are acceptable opponents who have fought recently too.
Wallin's more than an acceptable opponent to be fair. He's still owed a big one after Whyte was pulled out of their fight in 2021. For some reason I'm expecting Charr as an opponent for Joshua.
Im confused as to how Frank Warren can be putting on a historical heavyweight show in Arabia and have AJ v Wallin on it. Ive read myself earlier that AJ and Wilder are expected to feature on a show separately on the 23rd and obviously Parker has said he is close to a big fight that night. Would it not make more sense business wise if AJ and Parker were having a rematch?
Also wouldn't surprise me if Wilder ended up fighting Chisora as im sure Del Boy has talked that fight up before
Wilder Parker could be an ok fight depending on what shape Parker turns up in. Most likely he comes in heavy and Wilder cleans his clock pretty early
I'll wait for it to be CONFIRMED before jumping up and down about the fight but yeah, IF it happens, acceptable fight.
Exactly this. They are 2 fighters who have both been soundly beaten by better guys but want an astronomical amount to get into the ring together. I don't rate Wallin but no doubt Joshua will make hard work of him.
