What has that got to do with comparing Joshua to Wilder in terms of power?

If you genuinely question Wilder's power by now, nothing will convince you.

Did you miss the bit where I said "obviously clear that he hits really ****ing hard" ?

I don't question the fact he has power, I question the 'biggest puncher ever' narrative and wonder who with a good chin he's knocked out to justify that.

That's a genuine question btw as I barely recognise the majority of the names on his record.

You said Wilder’s power is UNPROVEN. I can’t take that seriously.

    1. 60 40 Wilder.
    2. 50 50.
    3. 60 40 Dubois.
    4. 75 25 Makhmudov.

Anybody have a clue what TV will be showing this please?

I don’t think fights 1 and 2 are quite as close as you are saying but they are definitely competitive, good fights. Especially Joshua Wallin which might also have the unintended side effect of shutting down a few more Fury haters if Wallin has successful spells.

I have no idea why Dubois keeps getting made favourite against decent foes. More money coming my way at the bookies again i suspect. I don't think he's even anywhere near a prime John Mcdermott's level.

I think the Usyk fight really flattered Dubois.
Even though he was completely outclassed and quit again, a lot of people just remember him putting Usyk down with a low blow.

I think someone like Miller is all wrong for Dubois.
He may not be a great boxer but is physically intimidating and will mentally bully Dubois.

If the bookies were offering a bet on Dubois taking the knee again I would snatch their hand off

I agree I’m surprised he’s fighting Miller. Seems a bit of a nightmare style for him.

Interesting to see him say he was banned from the Usyk/Fury presser, then goes on to joke about it but there may be some truth in it.

I have to add also that Chisora really wasn't sounding too great in his interview at all, he's not everyone's cup of tea, certainly not always mine but he's a man with a young family and he really needs someone to step in now for his own good. His general demeanor and dare I say speech wasn't that of a well man.

He has earned millions and millions of pounds of PPV Loot with his plod for pay fighting model and simply cannot get enough loot.

The medical tests must be ignored along with drugs tests.

The 2nd Parker fight should have been the end but his mate Fury gave him Box Office Loot and on he goes.

Parker is going to look like Szpilka, Washington and Molina against Wilder and your narrative will take yet another hit.

I think it is unproven. Fury doesn’t have the best chin and he couldn’t put him away. And has never knocked out a world class fighter.

He has a big right hand but I don’t subscribe to the Fury narrative of him being the biggest puncher ever

Main thing I disagree with there is the 1st bit. Any body could see he hit Usyk in the balls. Then failed to capitalise. He has talent, can punch, but has now showed vulnerability in 2 losing fights and one that he won.
Everything else I agree strongly with mate. Especially the bit about mental bullying. It's already started at the press conference, to the extent that I think wiser heads will try to talk Dubois out of taking the fight.
THe bit about the bookies great point. Let us know if you do that and I for one will follow suit.

Convinced he does that mate and not surprised in the slightest if he won.
John might have been a braver boxer mate but thats all. He did do OK against Usyk and Joyce before the ending. John boxed Fury early career was a learning fight. And I doing agree with those who think he beat him first fight.
