I don’t see why they have to be on the same card but with different opponents so they can make out they’re building the fight and they can face off in the ring etc. The fight has been talked about for 7 years ffs. If the fight is as big as they reckon then they’ll still make mega millions doing it in America or the UK.
AJ Wallin & Wilder Parker are both good fights and I would pay for the show. Would pay more for AJ Wilder now though. Just get it on FFS.
I can see AJ not doing great in this fight. Wallin was the guy who gave Fury a massive cut above the eye. Just imagine what he could do to AJ…
Where are the people who said that Joshua was ducking Wallin? We are waiting for you to appear. Joshua is in a great place mentally and is ready to show the world how good he is. Fantastic decision as Joshua will put himself in a position to fight Filip Hrgovic for the IBF World Title in 2024 after the first fight between Fury and Usyk. I think Hearn’s plan is then for Joshua vs Wilder if the money is tight, or Joshua vs Hrgovic for the IBF World Title, and then Joshua could potentially fight Fury brining a world title to the table in an undisputed fight in 2025.
This content is protected Poor opponent to be honest. Miller struggled with Lucas Browne ffs. Not sure why they can’t make Dubois vs Bakole as both are on the undercard apparently.
Am I the only one that gets Delia Smith vibes every time he calls people out? This content is protected
Great card if they pull it off. Parker has dropped out the Boxing News (TBRB) rankings of late, but he is still an opponent who should tell us how much Wilder has left. Wilder also is now not ranked due to inactivity so he does really need a fight to shake off the rust. Plus it's a fight I have always wanted to see. So no complaints here. And Joshua v Wallin is #3 v #4 according to The Boxing News (TBRB). Do I think Wallin is ranked too high? Sure, but it would be pretty mean-spirited to complain about this match-up. You can watch their amateur final online - it's a good fight. If true, it is a legitimate great card. https://boxingnewsonline.net/ranking/
He still looked petrified in a fight against a bang average, late replacement Helenius. Don’t think he’ll ever win a meaningful fight again.
So possibly Joshua v Wallin on TNT Sports. Wow! Believe it when I see it. I though Joshua had a piece of Dazn and was exclusive until the end of his career.
