Another Anthony Joshua fight not on DAZN in the UK. That exclusive deal is not worth the paper it’s written on.
neither AJ nor Wilder are good enough nowadays to get through their perfunctory tune-up fights without a hitch
It's obvious what's going on, call him out, stall, delay, blame Wilder,delay......rinse and repeat since 2017. All part of the plan to let Wilder get to 40 years old or as close to 40 as possible when the natural aging and slowing process as really taken hold and massively reduced his risk....then miraculously the fight will get made. No wonder the general public have switched off to boxing. Its slowly becoming more and more of a fringe/minority sport
So have Frank and Bob locked up the Saudi gig then? The proposed fights for both aren't dreadful. But to have them both on the same card and not fighting each other really is depressing. The entire build up will be between two fellas not fighting one and other. Parker and Wallin may as well stay in the hotel rooms and watch porn opposed to shownup to the pressers
Wilder did the commentary for Joshua v Klitschko on Sky and Sky wanted Wilder to get in the ring afterwards. Somebody said no…
If that actually went on Wilder would be shouting out the rooftops that Joshua is ducking him. They are both obviously waiting for the money they were originally offered to fight each other.
Boxing fans are like battered wives. Just greatful for anything slightly positive to tell their friends about. A rumoured card full of fighters who should be fighting the other fighters. It's hilarious watching people stick up for this.
Exactly!! Back in the day they would both spark out crap opposition looking impressive to build up the fight. Now we will get pathetic lackluster performances that will probably do more harm than good in building up the fight.
I can't understand why Matchroom wants to match AJ against Wallin ? They need to find an opponent that AJ easily stops within 3 - 4 rounds so the common people will regain their faith in AJ.
So that Joshua can fight Hrgovic for the vacant IBF World Title, allowing him to fight Fury for Undisputed / unification in 2025. If Fury loses to Usyk, Joshua will be world champion and Fury will have no belts. It's a good move.
Obviously wants to get paid but underneath it is sport and the sport competitive element seems to have gone wanting to be the best. The main issue is Joshua, Wilder, whoever wants paying but don't want to fight the 50/50 fights that deserve the big paydays and instead wants mad sums for fighting no-ones or not the top dogs as such
