Joshua gets a decision, but as I've said, he still has to be cautious against Baer. Despite max not being Muhammed Ali, he could punch. Joshua by points.
Joshua from last night was very good. **** what the haters and slimy pricks on general say. Joshua would pretty much do that to Baer as well, who isn't as quick as Ruiz. Joshua would quite literally just use the same gameplan, he'd jab Baer's head off and probably drop some rights hands on him to force his respect. Baer doesn't have the footwork to cut the ring off on Joshua imo, so he'd just be swinging away, missing and probably getting countered hard. Baer definitely has a chance though, Joshua's chin still isn't iron and Baer's best punch is the one Joshua has been repeatedly hit with in his last 3 fights. It's probably 50-50 over 15, as Joshua's stamina is really sus there.
Think Baer is better then Ruiz. Just as good as hands but better feet. Although the defense is lacking which would probably get him knocked out against AJ.
I wouldn't pit Bjorg against Federer with a wooden racket. So, with a modern boxing apprenticeship for Max, I'll say 50:50. But, as a Brit, I would be more than happy to see Joshua become a beast in the next few years.
Max has plenty of strength and power and he knocked Carnera all over the ring, even though ol' Primo was arguably a better boxer in the technical sense.
Still need to see more from Joshua before picking him over Baer. Baer’s hands were way faster than Ruiz’s and Baer was a more complete fighter than Ruiz along with being twice as experienced.
One of the few times I'm picking Baer Are people really impressed by Joshua's performance considering what was standing in front of him lastnight?? Come on give me a break.
