My point is that even when facing substandard opposition by world standards pretty much everyone has been able to land on Wilder easily enough and I don't buy the 'he was letting them because he didn't respect their power' argument for a minute.

This is boxing, it's not true when they say Golovkin lets his opponents hit him and its not true here either. Fighters avoid any punishment if they can.

 

Szpilka was having success. You've got to be blind to say otherwise. Szpilka and Morrison are nothing alike though you're right. Szpilka is a converted southpaw who's slow and flat footed compared to Morrison. Morrison is better in EVERY area. Footwork, punching variety, power, hand speed, actually has some head movement. Morrison stuck to a gameplan for 12 rounds where he was less aggressive and more cautious than usual against Foreman, so once again you're full of ****.

 

I'm not saying that at all, that's just the truth that he wasn't concerned about Duhaupas's power at all. I suppose it makes a sort of sense, Morrison is that same sort of level as Duhaupas, both getting knocked out every time stepping up to World level.

Look at any highlight reel of the fight, can almost count the significant punches by Szpilka on one hand. He was able to neutralize Wilder's jab for the most part that allowed you and others that dksab to rob Wilder of his rounds. It's ok, Szpilka was knocked out. Only disciplined fight on a decent level Morrison ever fought was against an old slow George Foreman, after he was knocked out already. He wouldn't be able to do the same to Wilder who's faster and longer. Totally different fight. He knew he was chinny and since you cannot say he was a hype job you're the one who's full of ****.

 

Yeah anyone who doesn't blindly kiss Wilders ass like you DKSAB - like the long time RBR man IB who knows more about boxing than either of us. That disciplined fight against 'Old slow Foreman'(who was clearly still a very capable operator) is better than any individual performance in Wilders career. Wilders best performance was against Stiverne, you know the guy who struggled with the bloated corpse of Ray Austin. What are you on about? I said a few pages back that Morrison rode his success from Rocky 5 and the fact that he was a white boy from middle America. You're an idiot.....

 

You can't bring yourself to say Morrison is a "hype job" so you're full of ****. He's the poster boy for hype jobs. No need for all those other words. The rest is just your (shitty) opinion.
