Don't know like. Fury's speed may be an issue for Joshua. I just hope it doesn't turn into Joshua having a swollen face like Dubois from the jabs I see him taking.

Joshua has quick hands but not the quickest in speed.

Joshua best bet is to fire back effectively with that jab, and try and land a big right hand every so often, and after Fury has been worn down a bit, then unleash carnage.

There would be excuses regardless. If Aj actually managed to beat Fury the first excuse would be

    "Fury's inactivity"

and the second excuse would be

"Fury wasn't the underdog so he wasn't at his best"

and then the final excuse would be

"Fury was never the same after the Klitschko fight, the Fury that beat Klitschko would school Anthony Joshua"

i can already see it. The excuses will be prevalent. I agree to a small extent that Fury's ring rust may slightly affect him but all he had to do was say he wanted a tune up, i feel like Fury is worried he'll be seen as ducking Joshua if he said that so he's going straight into the Aj fight. Oh well. It isn't Ajs fault

He should have fought in November or December last year.

It's almost a 50-50 proposition and it could be close.

But I have a feeling Fury will rise to the occassion once more and set a fast pace, mix up his tactics a lot, confuse AJ, and ultimately take the fight to him, beat him up on the inside and AJ will wilt.
    AJ wilted against Ruiz.
AJ was there for the taking against Wlad for several rounds but Wlad was too old and hesistant and cautious to put him away.
If Fury senses any weakening of stamina or resolve, any hint of AJ's muscles tiring and tying up, he'll just apply educated pressure with some degree of ferocity until AJ is done.

And what has AJ got ?
great athleticism, very good boxing skills, great combination punching, explosive power, and adequate speed and agility to make himself a real force ..... all of it combines to give himself a real fighting chance.

But Fury has that extra element, doesn't he. He has the adaptability, the loose relaxed temperament, a ring IQ that kicks into overdrive when he needs it, and very possibly more heart than AJ.

Fury wins in a wide rather dull points decision. Will be a a disappointment to the pub fight expert's.

Jim White on Talksport has just said the contracts for Fury-AJ will be signed TODAY. Dates are now narrowed to 7th or 14th August.

    AJ TKO

The drug abuse and the enormous weight fluctuations are gonna catch up to Fury eventually.

I think AJ can do it, but Fury is a machine. I see his speed and jabs being an issue. AJ need to find a way to attack fury in a way that's not too predictable. I'm 70% sure Fury will win.

I'd prefer AJ win, but I think Fury by UD or maybe late TKO.

Its good to have a fight where its really up in the air
    Just hope its entertaining
Whilst I can recognise the skill of Klitschko v Fury I really hope its not a re-run !

Its interesting what each fighters strategy is going to be, I think by the time this starts the British public will have backed Joshua into clear favourite for this fight

I think Joshua's best chance is to fight aggressive early, use combinations and look to get into exchanges, catch Fury when he's open, I don't see Joshua winning a decision, I think he should put it on the line and try and take Fury out early doors

With Fury, I think he's gonna try and Jab Joshua's head off and look to land big rights when its safe to do so, I think he's gonna try and man handle Joshua in the clinches, rough him up. Fury will want to make Joshua fight at a pace he's not comfortable at, test his suspect stamina issues, take him to the deep water of the later rounds and drown him

In terms of the winner, I think you always have to look at 2 major areas
    - a fighters in-fight ability to adapt with versatility and Ring IQ
    - a fighters ability to produce when faced with adversity

I think Fury edges both those fundamentals and wins via a 116-112 type of decision
