If it was Wilder talking I'd agree but both Fury and Joshua tend to be pretty straight forward to deal with when making fights. No silly demands or reasons to back out or dumb delaying tactics like with Wilder. I'm pretty damn optimistic this fight happens.
The fact remains it's pretty much solely dependent on the world "epidemic" situation. The fight venue. Come February next year is when the hot talks and ironing out of details really needs to start happening. Can't if lockdowns are enforced everywhere. The US looks much more likely to be able to host an event than the UK right now because they aren't playing project fear as much in some states. London is going to be a hot-bed for another 6 months no doubt. "New strain" nonsense, all so tiresome. Just send it to Saudi & let them oil rich tycoons smoke their shisha's around the ring barely clapping and get it over with. Or even more hilarious send it to Macau China LOOOL. Directly hijacking our sports events. Saudi and China can suck a massive dong. Wembley UK or in the USA in a massive stadium No questions. There has to be a British crowd present.
AJ has been fighting glorified 40 year old midgets He will feel like he's jumped into a freezing cold pool when he is in front of Fury. Fury could roll out of bed on any given day and give AJ an asswhooping.
Still think Fury should try to squeeze in a wilder trilogy in February or March if possible just so he can shake off some rust
I don't understand why with all the delays and the "marinating" of this fight that they'd suddenly be in a rush to get this fight made during a pandemic with no gate money.
Eddie sees Usyk as a risk and the belts are all available even after AJ got flattened by a burrito time to sell AJ off
It's defo not time to sell AJ off yet, his loss hasn't affected his PPV drawing power one bit and there isn't anyone who can replace him as Matchrooms money maker yet. No one even close
